The Engine House is a lovely self-contained unit. Lots of light and great surroundings with parking just outside. Lisa was very friendly and helpful, do not hesitate to contact her if necessary. Would definitely visit again as a great location for surrounding areas. Craig & Gwyn.

We loved are stay, it was beautiful, peaceful, felt like you were miles from anywhere. Great hosts, very quick response to messages. It was a little hot the first night so we ask if they had a fan and they supplied one strait away. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend

We loved staying at the property. It was bright and clean, and uncluttered. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped. The weather was changeable while we were there, but we felt very cosy when needed. The location is fantastic, we had come down by train, and were able to walk to Marazion. We also had access to the Penzance bus, which we used on our last day to get to the train station. There are also local shops and pubs within walking distance. Karly and her family were very friendly, we felt we could have approached them if we had needed anything. They had very thoughtfully left a bottle of wine and milk for when we arrived. We will be returning to Cornwall in the future, and would stay at this property again, it was such good value for money for the high standard of accommodation.

we had a perfect week at Penlerick a beautiful cottage by the sea. it felt like being at home, and we loved this place. perfect setting above the beach, amazing views, sound of the waves was lovely. very comfy bed, everything we needed in the kitchen, lovely decor throughout. we will be back x

Staying at Emma’s place was a wonderful experience. The photos seen at the time of booking truly does not do the cottage justice. We felt it was so much more than we expected it to be and was truly pleasantly surprised. The views, the homeliness, comfort, decor and just the feeling when we stepped inside made us feel so warm and comfortable and the house was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed. A huge plus point for us was having an electric car charger and something every Host needs to consider. Thank you Emma! Everything was just perfect. I cannot complete this review without mentioning that Emma, truly was a super Host! From the moment we confirmed our booking the communication and welcome received from Emma was very appreciated. She was very accommodating and provided great local tips, was always available to answer our questions with very quick responses. We will definitely return with our entire family next time! Thank you so much for a lovely stay !

Great host for a lively house that fitted a family of 4 for a long weekend in Cornwall. Very close to multiple stunning beaches.

We had a fantastic week in the Old Schoolhouse. It's placed centrally in the village with shops, restaurants, pubs etc all walkable, including easy access to the SW coast path and surrounded by wonderful countryside. The apartment is beautifully kept and spacious - even if rain kept you in you'd be comfortable. We hope we might stay again sometime.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tom’s . Beautiful flat with a beautiful garden & views . Tom was helpful and informative & the cream tea was a welcome treat after a 4 hour drive . I Would return here every weekend if I could !! Thank you so much for everything ☺️

Excellent views of the beach and town. Easy walkable access to beach and local amenities. Apartment was modern and clean, with tasteful decor. It was ideal to have full use of the outside deck to enjoy sundowners. Information was provided on local eateries and sightseeing attractions in the area. Katherine was friendly and welcoming! Had a great stay, and would definitely visit again.

The stay was great it was in a good location. It was a 5-10 minute walk down to the bus and train station and 10-15 in to town and restaurant. The place had what we needed for our stay. Emma also had a folder with all the information you need for our stay and helpful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. If you needed anything else Emma was just a message away and was very helpful. Will be back again

Julie is a wonderful host and a very kind human being. Her apartment shows how considerate she is. We found everything needed in the flat. Flat is very clean, tidy, good linens, balcony view with sound of the waves is outstanding. Bed is good for sleeping. Comfy sofa and other electric machines are fine. We cooked meals happily. Bathroom is nice and clean. Close to town centre and other beaches. Rooftop is nice. We stayed here for seven days. She even arranged for late check-in to help us to relax before catching our flight home. This holiday experience is so great!! We hope to visit again In sha Allah. Thank you Julie. Lisa’s place was so charming and comfortable. The view was amazing! We loved eating outside after making meals in the fully, well equipped kitchen. We also loved sitting in the pretty sunroom. It was a quick walk to the train which took us into St Ives. Also a short but steep walk to the beautiful beach, just bring your own beach towels, chairs or mat because none are provided. Lisa left us a nice bottle of wine and offered to let us check in early once the cleaning was done. We had a very relaxing stay.

Lovely spot just a walk from the beach. The outdoor balcony space was welcomed when the sun was shining after a long day walking. We had everything we needed! Rachel was great with recommendations and quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything

Amazing location just above the beach, with a lovely view from the window. Had everything we needed for a short stay in St Ives - well equipped kitchen for cooking our own supper and an easy stroll to the restaurants in the centre of St Ives. As the photos make clear, the bed is a loft bed which may not be suitable for those who have some mobility issues or aren’t comfortable climbing up a steep ladder.

We absolutely loved staying at Charlotte's place! The loft was very spacious, extremely comfy, and well-equipped. A parking spot is provided. Charlotte lives on the property as do her two sweet pups and some very sociable chickens who tended to greet us when we walked to our car each morning. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful, but a quick drive to the center of Falmouth where there are lots of shops and wonderful restaurants. Trebah garden is only a few minutes away by car and is outstanding. Charlotte is very kind and welcoming, and a super responsive host. We couldn't have asked for anything more and truly enjoyed our stay at the loft. I highly recommend renting this property.

We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

Jackie’s accommodation was great for our stay. Near the beaches and the beautiful garden which stays in the sun until late allowing us to sit and enjoy the outdoors after the beach. Lovely hosts in a lovely location.

The studio is beautifully presented and very extremely clean. Toiletries and linens are lovely and Elizabeth goes above and beyond in providing extra ‘incidental’ items that are so useful - spare toothbrushes, spectacle wipes etc. For wet days there is a large selection of reading and games material. We had everything we needed but I also felt that Elizabeth would respond immediately if there were any issues whatsoever.

We had a great long weekend in this charming cottage literally 2 mins walk from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The cottage oozes history and we found this very charming. The hosts were fantastic with quick responses to questions, let us check in early and very helpful with advice and recommendations. It was the great base for us to have a food and drink weekend in Falmouth. Just what we needed! 2 things for people to consider….if you’re over 6ft then you’ll be walking around with a cricked neck as the ceilings are low but again, we found this part of the cottages character. Also, there isn’t a tv…but this was actually a god send as we sat and chatted instead of doom scrolling on mobiles or iPads or watching rubbish on the telly. Other than that, the place was perfect for us. Well appointed, nice bed linen, hot powerful shower, charming little seating area at the patio door and a parking space to boot! Absolutely loved it.

Unbelievable view and a very modern apartment to match. 2 parking spaces made life easy for 2 couple to stay here, and the apartment itself had a great amount of space. Walkable into the centre of Newquay (about 5 mins) and has lots of great beach / bays on your doorstep. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. Thanks

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If anyone wants to know how to run an Airbnb this is a perfect example. The apartment is set in a peaceful position, overlooking open fields. We explored many of Cornwall’s attractions and coastal resorts during our stay (by car). Paul and his wife were wonderful hosts.

Smashing wee place with great access for walks around the area or just exploring Penryn itself and especially handy for cafes, takeaways restaurants and good pubs. It was nice to return to somewhere I'd been before and see how it had improved since 1979!

We had such a wonderful stay at Melanie and Terry’s place! Melanie was incredibly kind, caring, and responsive; she even made a point to say hello in person and make sure we were okay. The space was clean, cozy, stocked with amenities, and full of personal touches that made it feel like home. The location was peaceful and convenient as well. This is one of the most thoughtful Airbnbs we've stayed in. Highly recommend, and we hope to return someday. Thank you so much!
