Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Portsea

A beautiful house which really makes the most of the ocean views. We really enjoyed the design of this house with great natural light and versatile spaces. Despite having a very cold snap with the weather, the house was quick to warm and remained warm when the heating was off. Great location with easy car access to Philip Island and surrounds, but otherwise very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is generous - plenty of room, well appointed, all manner of kitchen accoutrements, many touches of luxury - a real home away from home. The house was perfect for our gathering of family and friends. Although the weather was too cool to use the pool, it was lovely to gaze upon it from the living room. It is a short stroll from the bay and the Sorrento shops. Leanne was easy to communicate with and always answered our queries quickly. I highly recommend Leanne's place for a group gathering!

We had an amazing stay with 4 kids and 4 adults. The backyard was beautifully landscaped and provided hours of entertainment for our kids. The location provided easy access to surrounds.

We had a lovely weekend away! Daisy’s house was peaceful and relaxing, privately located with a beautiful view. The kids enjoyed the spa and farm animals located in neighbouring paddocks. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and the layout works well for 2 families. Daisy was an attentive host and was quick to respond to any messages. Would happily stay again :)

This was the most beautiful, bright, and cosy Airbnb — better than the photos! We had the most perfect long weekend stay here and really fell in love with the place. It was spotless, peaceful, and the hosts were kind and responsive. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay. The house was tidy with an open, yet cosy layout. The jacuzzi and sauna were an added bonus with clear instructions given on how to use.

We travelled as a group of 4 adults with 2 kids. The house is gorgeous, in a great location and with everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay and made great use of the beautiful tennis court (for tennis and improv pickle ball!). Nikki is a great host, with clear and friendly communication. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfectly positioned to enjoy everything that Sorrento has to offer. The main street shops, restaurants and trendy hotels are merely 2 minutes walk away, not to mention the beach and ferry terminal. I highly recommend this property. Checking in was a breeze. This home was an absolute gem peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality touches throughout. From the luxurious bed and crisp linens to the plush couch and spotless bathroom, every detail made the stay feel indulgent and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was the water pressure strong enough to actually wash your hair, which is surprisingly rare in most Airbnbs. And unlike many places, there were no leaks or awkward plumbing quirks in the shower just clean, functional design. The host was warm, responsive, and genuinely accommodating, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. This place is a perfect escape for couples looking to unwind in comfort and style. I’ll absolutely be coming back 5 stars, hands down.

We had a great time at the Portarlington National Celtic festival over the June long weekend. To top this off our very comfortable accommodation was a highlight. The Hosts have put so much effort to make their place a home away from home and it shows with every thoughtful detail . Certainly would recommend to anyone wanting to stay and also explore the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Hopefully we can return for another luxury escape !! Rgds Margaret & Bob

Comfy and cozy accomodation in a great location. The airbnb was in a great spot and was super clean and tidy. Alison was well accomodating with check in and check out times to ensure we could be ready for out even in time. Great stay

It was a last minute getaway and was just perfect. Exactly what we wanted and expected. Cold enough evenings to make the most of a fabulous fireplace. Lovely open space. Perfectly equipped kitchen and walkable distance to shops and beach. It was also a perfect secure home to bring our dog.

We had a wonderful stay at Ria's place. The house is exactly like the photos, beautiful, luminous and well equiped. It has everything you need (even an office!). Biarritz is a beautiful, stylish villa in a peaceful garden setting and Sylvie is an excellent host, always so friendly, responsive and helpful. We were three generations staying for eleven nights after Xmas and the five bedrooms, spacious, bright, open plan living, kitchen, dining areas suited us perfectly. The new spa and sauna were a well used added bonus. Sylvie has ensured every room is so well equipped, with all we needed plus many extras and thoughtful touches that we have not seen in other houses, and all is of a high quality.
