I would highly recommend staying here! Surani made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. She greeted us with cool wet towels for a cool down and mango juice which was perfect after a long drive from the coast (a thoughtful gesture). We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the cabanas and the comfort of the pillows and bed - super comfortable. Surani and her Mother prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner for us which was incredibly tasty. It was so nice to have home cooked meals prepared for us - they used fresh ingredients from their garden and were very accommodating to our dietaries. I would 100000% opt for them to cook for you, the food and service made our experience. Surani and her mother were kind enough to help us with organising our safari and transportation into town and back to Colombo when a driver didn’t show up. One tip would be to have a vehicle or driver with you if you want to explore beyond the Airbnb.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Die Cabans waren wunderschön, sehr sauber und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Uns wurde einer super Safari organisiert. Wir hatten mit den 2 Tour Guids richtiges Glück. Und uns wurde ein super leckeres Frühstück mit auf die Safari geschickt. Die Mitarbeiter waren super lieb und freundlich. Wirklich sehr, sehr nette und zuvorkommende Menschen. Das Angebotene Abendessen hat uns sehr geschmeckt und die Portionen waren sehr groß und für uns fast zuviel. Auch das Frühstück war groß und sehr vielfältig. Wir haben die ruhige Lage sehr genossen und konnten total abschalten und entspannen. Es war perfekt für uns :)

This place is incredible. Pictures don’t do it justice. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are spectacular and the staff were phenomenal. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We had the absolute best time here. There are dogs, goats, chickens, a trampoline, play area and lovely pool to keep the children entertained. We did the “dine under the stars” option and it was amazing, really recommended and unforgettable experience. Location perfect for Yala safari. Highly recommended, 5 stars and a great price.

I absolutely loved my stay. The location, albeit quite remote, is stunning and set up in a very spacious way so that privacy for all guests is ensured. Staff service is very professional, helpful and impeccable. The hosts offer lots of additional activities, like different walks or games, besides the obvious safaris. The safari was great, with a very knowledgeable guide and very tasty packed food. Food at the campsite is very decent with, again, an impeccable service. The tents are beyond comfortable, and not at all what I expected (being Dutch, camping generally means living in abject poverty by choice). All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great stay. The name, Luxurious Tent, was so accurate. It was a super luxurious space for camping. Incredibly clean, comfortable, and practical. Who could have expected a hot shower after swimming or coming back from safari? My kids could not eat spicy food but the host arranged a special menu for us. We were lucky to see two leopards in one morning safari. It was a perfect experience toys us with young children. Thank you.

We zijn super hartelijk ontvangen door Shantha. De B&B is van hoogwaardige kwaliteit en zeer schoon. Niets is voor Shantha teveel om voor je te regelen en hij is een uitstekende kok! Een absolute aanrader !

If you’re thinking of booking somewhere else, don’t. Wild Lotus was our favorite stay in Sri Lank. The team and story behind the property makes it super special. The property is unbelievable. You never have to leave! Roshan and his team exhibit five star service you’d get at any high end resort. We spent most of our day after our early morning excursions laying in the hammocks bird watching eating the delicious food prepared on site. Wild Lotus will always have a special place in our hearts.

Die Unterkunft ist genau wie versprochen und entsprechen den Bildern. Es ist eine echte Zimtplantage in der Nähe des Yala-Nationalparks. Die Gastgeberin Indira und der Hotel-Manager Imbaraj sind sehr gastfreundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit gewesen. Wir haben eine Tour durch den Garten und Plantage bekommen sowie uns auch der Prozess zur Verarbeitung des Zimts gezeigt und erklärt wurde. Sehr Interessant! Wir haben über die Unterkunft auch unsere Safari gebucht, was auch die beste Entscheidung war, da wir dadurch den besten Guide bekommen haben. Ganz klare Empfehlung vor allem für Paare die eine schöne und ruhige Zeit haben möchte mitten auf den Feldern und Plantagen.
