You'll be two blocks away from the Garfield public park, 3 blocks from Bishop's orchard, and 6 blocks away from Schaut's convenience store. There is a town pool open in summer months. The apartment is a short drive from Steptoe Butte State Park and hiking trails on Kamiak Butte and Idler's Rest.

With a fully equipped kitchen and the comfortable queen sized bed , as well as the Sealy inflatable queen bed for extra travel guests. Our private MountainVista guesthouse is your ideal starting point whether you are attending a university event or exploring the Palouse country. Located 17 miles from Moscow, our comfortable guesthouse provides you with peace and quiet along with a scenic view of Moscow Mountain. MountainVista offers a well equipped dedicated workspace. Air condition units are in bedrooms only. Our driveway is somewhat steep and gravel, not ideal for sports cars. 🙂

Forest roads, trails, and rail-beds abound for hiking, biking, xc-skiing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling. Owners' 2-acre pond is stocked with small-mouth bass, blue gill, and crappie for license-free fishing, and a canoe and kayak are available for your use in warmer weather.
