Tiny house holiday rentals in Powell County

This is my second time staying at one of Amy’s cabins. They are beautifully crafted and super cozy. We loved sitting in the new hot tub and listening to the creek. I couldn’t get the hot water to come on the first night but I stopped by the main house and the maintenance man greeted me and said he would fix it up. It was fixed within the next hour or two before we got back from our hike. I didn’t catch his name but he was very friendly. A couple small additions that would be helpful: An extra towel per person so you can have one for bathing and one for the hot tub. A bedside lamp. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and plan to stay at the Red River Gorgeous cabins again in the future!

Extremely clean and welcoming, great central location to major hiking/kayaking locations. Few things I would bring attention to. Lack of cleaning supplies, made a spill and no kind of cleaner to use, maybe add an extra blanket. Only blanket was the bed comforter (note I was there in dec/jan) a throw blanket would have been nice. Would prefer a window covering for the doors, especially the back door. All those things are extremely minor and the place was otherwise absolutely amazing. Would still book there again if in the area. Many positives about this place!

We were so thankful to have been recommended this place by Airbnb! Our original reservation canceled on us within only a few hours of check-in and the host Amy was very helpful and responsive in making sure we had a place to stay. Such a lovely and cute tiny home!

This is our third time staying in one of these two cabins. They are so cozy and just what we needed. The setting is beautiful and it is so calming to step out on the back porch and listen to the creek waters flowing. Just a lovely place!

CMO is a great little spot to spend a weekend while adventuring at the Red. We come here often and it’s always clean and fully stocked. Cindy/David/Jessica are very responsive and friendly. The cabins are basic but just what we need after a day outside. The AC works great, so I highly recommend in the summer. Will definitely come back!

We stayed here for our elopement at natural bridge. We planned to visit the parks but we enjoyed our stay so much that we mostly stayed at the cabin. It was so pleasant and peaceful. Just enough ammentities to feel comfortable but still off the grid. The host was incredibly responsive, professional, and helpful.

This is a nice place. Within a couple of hours of our arrival we booked a 2nd fall color trip! Be sure to look over The Everly link to see the other homes that are part of the enterprise. Everything was spotless, and right where you imagine it should be. We had a couple of non-issue questions mid-stay that Patrick responded to within minutes to our satisfaction. Roads in are typical narrow mountain access but well maintained striped asphalt. Only the driveway itself is gravel with ample two car parking. Scenery is all green and very private in summer. I will be interested to see the surroundings with some of the leaves down this fall. Terrific cell and WiFi if you need it. The house manual is completely clear and professional. Fridge is concealed and right size for the home. Freezer is on the small side and with the concealing panel you have to keep your hand on the door all the way closed to be sure it seals, no big whoop. No ice maker but 2 small groceries within 5 miles.

Loved the cabin. Very clean and exactly as pictured. Location was awesome. Close to everything I wanted to explore and enjoy! Will definitely come back!

This place was amazing. Just what I needed to get out of the city. Make sure you take food and snacks. Definitely off the beaten path. Most restaurants in the area are only open from Thursday-Sunday. The craftsmanship of the cabins is amazing. All three cabins look amazing. Bring a sleeping bag. Gets little chilly at night.

This is my family’s second year staying at the cabins and we absolutely love it there!! We had an issue with a couple of cars getting through the creek because of a huge rain fall and Kylie responded quickly to our questions and was very helpful in finding us a place for them to park until the next day when the creek lowered. Can’t wait to stay there again!!

The house was charming with lots of little details. The surrounding woods and creek were beautiful. It was a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. I would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved this spot! The cabin was clean and easy to get to even after a big rain the creeks were manageable. Kylie is an amazing host she communicated with us the whole time and answered any questions we had in a timely manner! We are looking to book all units for a Family gathering that is how much we loved it here!! The only warning is that there are some dogs that will run out to your car when entering the property and that was a little nerve wrecking, we love dogs, so we were more afraid of hitting them then them harming us. the showers were clean and the dinning area was as well. We left some creamer and snacks there for the other campers to use since we had a 3 hr drive back. We will be back!!! Stacey & Nick

A great little cabin for a weekend getaway! Great location for exploring Red River Gorge

We absolutely LOVED the Mighty Acorn. Quaint, clean, serene, secluded...all of the superlatives for this tiny haven!! We were in the area for a wedding and if Kentucky wasn't so far away...we'd be back!! Thank you to Harry & Jill for providing such a tranquil environment :-)

I’ve stayed in many cabins….and this is my new favorite. It’s perfect and somehow better than the photos. It’s private and peaceful. The outdoor space is wonderful. They put a lot of thought into every detail of this cabin. We absolutely loved our stay and will book again!

Perfect spot to crash after a long day of rock climbing.

It was absolutely a phenomenal place! My girlfriend and I celebrated our one year anniversary there. From the hiking to the skylift to the kayaking, this made an excellent place to come back to relax especially with the hot tub. Definitely recommended!

Had a nice stay. The cabin was nice and as described. Very clean! It’s definitely important to read and follow the host’s clear directions, rather than just following GPS, so you end up at the correct cabin!

Super cozy cabin, had everything we needed! Bed was very comfortable, composting toilet was easy to figure out, the heater needed some coxing to turn on but when it did, it worked great. The cabin could benefit from a little TLC and organization but overall a very pleasant stay in a quiet and beautiful area with a helpful host!

A nice getaway with a peaceful stream, wonderful firepit and great location!

Very peaceful stay, cozy inside and comfortable. In the heart of all the crags if you are into rocks and in walking distance to a restaurant. Would only prefer that there was a water filter for drinking water. Would absolutely stay again!

The cabin is indeed tiny, as stated in the listing, but was super comfortable and had everything we needed. Proximity to the takeout is ideal for paddlers on the Red River. We received immediate responses to our questions through the app. It was perfect for our needs and the memory foam mattress was sooooooo comfortable! My only suggestion for the host would be to add a few more hooks to hang bags and packs and shelves for kitchen items since there isn't a lot of floor space. Note that there is no cell signal at the property, but there is wifi at the kayak rental office if you need to get an emergency message out. Best to take care of all communication needs before arriving and then just put your phone away and enjoy the beautiful property and river while there :)
