Casa D Alcafaz is located on a slope of Serra do Caramulo, 15 minutes from the city of Águeda and 45 minutes from Aveiro. Águeda is known for its “umbrella sky project” program that takes place during Agitágueda, July and other activities throughout the year. There are river beaches, Alfusqueiro, Redonda and Bolfiar 8 km away. In Aveiro, known for its navigable canals (Venice of Portugal), with typical boats, the "moliceiros." 5 minutes from Aveiro, the beaches of Costa Nova and Barra, white sand beaches.

The apartment (Penthouse) has a vertical garden terrace, a bedroom with a 1.60 x 2.0 meter double bed, wardrobes and a safe. A living room with sofa, 4K TV, cable channels and Netflix, Rotel bluetooth sound system and mini bar with free drinks available for guests. Kitchen equipped with: Microwave, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Induction hob, Toaster, Kettle and Nexpresso. You can park your car in our private parking space and take the elevator to the rooftop. The spacious terrace is ideal to relax after a long day and enjoy a bottle of wine while overlooking the Downtown skyline!

The house is located 19km from Porto and 28km from the airport. It emerges on a hill in front of one of the most beautiful bends on the Douro river. You can enjoy not only the house, but also the terrace overlooking the river, the lush gardens around it, the pool area and also 2 barbecue areas. With 3 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 6 people. If you want to explore the property, there are also areas where we grow crops or fruit trees, do not hesitate to help yourself to some fresh fruits!

In the surrounding area, you can take nature hikes, tours along the Douro and Paiva rivers, visit the Paiva Walkways or discover the charms of the Magic Mountains. You will be welcomed by the host Vitó who, being local and knowing the area, will help you discover the region's charms.
