I would say this is simply amazing place which we want to visit again and again :) It's quiet, has amazing view on the sunset, probably the best one I've ever had from my house! Very stylish and has everything you might ever need. There's a nice lake in half an hour of walking, small grocery store within village. Also I'm very thankful to hosts which were always there and helpful with any situation that might possibly happen. One more star goes to amazing black cat which was coming to the location every evening making it even better than perfect :)

This is a quiet, peaceful place set in a nice garden. The village is attractive as well. We had no car so we were greatful Dora fixed us delicious, inexpensive breakfasts and dinners. We highly recommend this family, dedicated to the environmental conservation of the area. The Refuge is special (but don't try to do the circuit, we did and ended up on the highway 6k to Srebarna. Best birding is on either side of Srebarna village. It is possible to get to the lodge by public transportation (bus #22 from Silistra) but buses are infrequent so get the schedule.
