The cottage is ideally placed for walking holidays. It benefits from a secluded patio to the side of the property It sleeps two people in one open plan space so, is ideal for couples or friends alike. It has a modern kitchen and en suite shower room. There is facility to store and dry wet gear. A short walk to the Dinorben Arms. Close to the Offa’s Dyke trail. Airbnb have changed how they collect fees. Prices haven’t gone up I promise. Book two nights in Oct/November and get a bottle of wine

Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'. Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer. Great for couples, adventurers, families and dogs. Car essential.

It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.
