Beautiful place, and so relaxing. Ginta was so helpful and welcoming. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and lots of opportunity for day trips into Cesis and for hiking.

The home is beautiful and clean. Surroundings beautiful and maintained. In the description of the listing, the house with the electric sauna, but in fact the wood-burning sauna was separate for an additional fee, this was not written in the description. In addition, it was necessary to inform earlier about the use of the sauna. The host could have informed and provided this well in advance. To get to the place, the address on the map does not match the reality, need to use a separate search word. Overall, we are satisfied and recommend.

The Latvians have a saying - don't look the husband out of a hat. It's the story of John's house that looks simple from the outside and getting inside into a fairy tale. A great place to relax, sleep and spend time with family or friends.

The accommodation was beautiful and super clean and well equipped. The location was also super nice and you really had everything to be happy. In addition, the communication was super fast and good and uncomplicated. Our wishes were directly addressed and responded to flexibly. We had a very nice time.

We had a lovely time with a family of 5 in Rihards farmhouse that has been beautifully renovated with lots of personal touches. We enjoyed the hottub and the private - but cold!- little lake in the backyard. It's the perfect spot in the middle of Latvia's beautiful nature for people who want some time away from the city. At the same time Cesis, with its shops and restaurants, is closeby.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. I would love to return it the future.

We had a wonderful time at this guest house! We were pleasantly surprised by both the house itself and the surrounding area – a very cozy, clean and comfortable environment to enjoy peace and relaxation. There are many beautiful places to walk and enjoy nature in the area, which made our stay even more special. Special thanks to the guests house hosts for their warm welcome and great communication – everything was provided to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to others who want an enjoyable and relaxing getaway!

Perfect little "chalet" in Latvian countryside. We enjoyed our stay and everything was perfect. Ieva was very helpful and responsive as always. It was our third time and we will come again next year for sure!

From the photos, it seemed like an old apartment, but in reality, you're staying in an old, yet renovated manor. It's peaceful, it's beautiful and right next to the river Gauja. Hosts are very friendly and open. This place is a hidden gem. Go there, enjoy the nature and positive vibes! Totally worth the price. Thank you Lolita!

All over good place, good location, good for families

Loved the surroundings and the peace. Decoration of the place was cozy. Warm and friendly host, lovely pets, felt right at home. Morning sunrise was amazing and in the kitchen there was very tasty herbal tea. Found good dinner from Ogre. Coming with car, there were fuel stations just near the location. Would be happy to stay again!

Our stay in Anses apartment in Līgatne was a complete success. The apartment is located in a listed building near the historic paper mill. With the window open, you can hear the picturesque stream rushing - almost like from a picture book. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail. The large, modern kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook. We particularly liked the tastefully renovated bathroom as well as the charming combination of restored floors and stylish vintage furniture, which wonderfully accentuate the character of the house. We felt right at home. The contact with Anse went smoothly and warmly – you can feel how much passion is in this accommodation. We will be happy to come back!

Great space! everything is top-noch and perfectly simple. The garden is lovely, and the place is in a very nice location - a green piece with a short walking distance to the old town

Everything was good, location pretty close to bus/train stations, only 5 minutes to old town by walking. Grocery store is just across the street. Really good spot if you are staying overnight. 👍🏻

We spent the weekend at this house for the second time! Everything is outstanding and we already knew! I can add what I especially notice here, little things that may also not be there to be exceptional! But there is.... a well-known brand of quality showers, hair washes, matched color towels, according to the interior, even the exterior, door fixers, all the way to the hinges of the cupboards, the dishwasher and it can go on and on.... Not everything is thought of, but thought hard more! Very tasteful!

A beautiful location with chamomile fields and fresh wildlife tracks in the morning. Absolutely quiet and in nature. Perfect holiday idyll. Good starting point for excursions in the area. Super helpful host. Thank you for the friendly communication. Highly recommended.

The honey sauna is a place to enjoy nature and the tranquility of the countryside, sip warm tea in peace and warm up by the fireplace in the evening. Inese and her husband are very pleasant hosts, my friend and I were both welcomed in a friendly and warm way. Both of us are bird sweet and were very excited to see owls nearby for the first time in our lives. Thank you for lovely memories!

I enjoyed staying at Zigmund's place - it is very cozy, the sauna was terrific, and the location was calm and peaceful, I felt right at home. Zigmunds was very forthcoming, helpful, and friendly. Would love to stay here when I visit Cesis next time. :)

The place is not too far from cities and shopping options, but distant enough to disconnect yourself from harassing routine - enjoy silence and simly the sounds of nature

A truly relaxing getaway not even on the woodland, but in the woods, off the big road. Bird songs, green expansive surroundings. The hosts themselves were not at home. Quite close by there are neighbors that were definitively not disturbing about the hot tub/sauna should be paid for of course. The spa is not at the lodge, as a result we were basically in the tub and sauna, we only slept in the house. There was an idea that it would even be cooler in the tent:D

Absolutely will go back! Loved the place, sauna and the awesome sound system in the room! Bathroom was so warm. And I personally loved the outdoor toilet, brought back memories and could do business peacefully. On top of everything I was so happy to find UNO cards and badminton rackets! There was no thing missing. Would love if you could also swim there after the sauna! But 10/10 place. I also saw a deer, nice.
