Beachfront holiday rental in Prospect

My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

As a first time traveller to Barbados, Tonia was the best host and made our stay memorable. She was quick to help out with our needs and also suggest the best spots to visit. Thanks Tonia!

My husband and I fell in love about 8 years ago with Barbados and this was our 8th visit to Barbados. We booked this villa about 3 days prior to our arrival, and were impressed with the quick communication and very easy self check in. The villa is beautiful, nice and white and bright. The beds were very comfortable and it was spotless. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels! It was lovely sitting on the deck watching the surfers, we felt safe and happy in the Freights Bay Area with a quick walk to Miami Beach, the location of this villa was convenient and within walking distance to the fish market and Masseys grocery store! A lovely villa in deed and another wonderful vacation in Barbados.

Salty toes is unbelievable!, and it's a must visit! From the cleanliness of the house itself to the sandy beach coming right up to the outdoor seating area, simply amazing! It's one of those places that's quiet and off the main street but it has everything on its doorstep! lovely bars, restaurants, food courts, lovely boardwalks etc it has it all.. the house was spotless, fully stocked with everything you could imagine. Big cooker, big fridge freezer/ washing/ dryer facilities. Salty toes has ample space for families. Two big seating areas inside for eating at, and then the outdoor area just has to be seen! Amazing! All 3 bedrooms were huge, crisp clean linen and all beds with memory foam mattresses! We'll definitely be back to Salty Toes, home away from home. I'd be giving this place 20/10! Great place overall! The unit itself is roomy, recent and clean. The location couldn’t be better; on The Gap, but not right in the bars section so it was quiet at night but you just had to walk 5 minutes to get to the action. Great host and his co-hosts were great as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and will be looking to come back with our daughters!

Zeema and Paul have been extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. They gave us so many recomendations and tips to help us have the best few days of holiday. They had a last minute cancellation in one of the better studios and they upgraded our room free of charge. Great hosts, would definetely recommend and would come back!

We just returned from 6 absolutely gorgeous, sun-soaked days at Villa Sunkiss and we’re already dreaming about going back. From the moment we arrived, the villa took our breath away. Every room was thoughtfully curated with an elegant, beachy Caribbean vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed and at home. The kitchen was a dream—fully equipped and just perfect. But the real magic was the beautifully maintained, super comfortable outdoor space with jaw-dropping views of the water from every angle. The only tiny downside was that the sea wall stairs had been taken out by a hurricane last year, so direct swimming access from the property wasn’t possible. The location overall couldn’t be better—just steps to the lively St. Lawrence Gap and despite being close to the action, the neighborhood felt peaceful, safe, and super friendly. Cathy our host was fantastic and always available by text. This was the kind of stay that sticks with you long after you leave and we can't wait to come back!

We had an incredible experience at the Sapphire Beach Condo in Barbados! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket with a bottle of rum punch and local snacks. We were also greeted by a beautiful ocean view. The condo had everything we could possibly need. It was stocked better than most homes! There were so many thoughtful touches, like a fully stocked laundry room, good quality hair dryer, Bluetooth speaker and Alexa. We rented a car from across the street which was very convenience but if you need a taxis we recommend Anderson who is across from the property. We used him to go to the airport. My son realized he left his expensive camera in the car rental. We called Anderson and he retrieved the camera for us. That kind of kindness and reliability is rare. We were beyond grateful. All in all, this was a great vacation rental. The attention to detail, hospitality, and thoughtful extras made our trip unforgetable. We highly recommend Sapphire Beach Condo.

Modern, cosy and extremly clean. The apartment was neat and well equipped with everything you would need and more. Boasted some stunning views of the ocean. The hosts are really cool and responive. SOV301 is centrally located if you’re planning to enjoy the beaches and nightlife, up the west coast or down the south coast. 100% would stay here again.

A Wonderful Stay in Barbados! My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely Airbnb in Barbados, and I can't recommend it enough! The property was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy living spaces. One of the highlights was the daily cleaning service, which was a fantastic touch that made our experience even more enjoyable. The only minor downside was that the beach was not as close as I initially expected. This was more about my misunderstanding of the house description than anything else, so I can't hold it against the property. We rented a car for the week which is a must and explored many local beaches which were all top notch. Simon is an amazing host and provided prompt feedback when needed. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would definitely return!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Philip's condo for a week, and it was an incredible experience. The location is perfect, situated near the most beautiful beaches on the west side of Barbados. It's also conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and the bus line, making transportation a breeze. Philip's communication was excellent both before and during my stay, ensuring everything went smoothly. The apartment itself is modern and well-updated, providing a comfortable and stylish environment. After a long day at the beach, the pool was a fantastic place to relax and unwind. Overall, I highly recommend Philip's condo for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Barbados!

Absolutely perfect, could not wish for any better. Wonderful apartment, even better than expected. Location through the gate on to the most perfect beach and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very spacious for 2 people. Nicely decorated and the patio and garden was lovely. Pat who we picked the key up from was very lovely and so helpful. We have just had a wonderful time and would love to come back. It was perfect for us and nothing I would want to change - I just hope there is availability when we want to come back!

Fantastic house, beautiful west facing views for sunset over the sea, really close to Fish Pot restaurant with beach and pier to swim off. The house itself is even better than the photos, and the rooms are all to a high spec with aircon and lots of space. We liked being at the quieter end of the island, it's very private and quiet. David and Chris were excellent hosts, Chris was very helpful and gave us suggestions for lunch restaurants on the beaches. Would highly recommend and stay again, thank you.

Stunning apartment, with ocean views from every room. Amazing layout for 2 couples, with basically 2 suites. Unbeatable st Lawrence gap location and lovely host. Plus a little pool, just as cool as you didn't know you needed! Many thanks for have us. It was wonderful, a dream vacation.

Location is great in terms of amenities- Rubis just opposite; next to local bus stop; short walks to either mullins beach & the great house beach at the other end. Speightstown is only a short bus ride away, with the lovely PRC bakery, The Caboose and Heywood beach which were all great. The property itself was spacious and as described- we especially appreciated the large back patio- have most of our meals overlooking the beautiful sea view & sunsets! Equally we really appreciated the amenities Ana has to offer- the washing machine & dryer; the floaties, life jackets and snorkelling gear etc. I’m going to put a few things here which I think might be helpful We are a small family- mum, dad and toddler (3): - The traffic outside is REALLY loud- often late eve. Large vehicles drive by- whole house shakes- v busy road/watch child! - very rocky at the base of the back steps- we didn’t swim directly from here - no AC in the main living space- so hot! -pick up app- unreliable in location

Nice place to stay at, was clean and the front desk was very friendly. Location nice as you’re right by the beach. I will say the amenities are up to date and well taken care of but you’re right by a street and other neighbors surrounding. Didn’t bother me and I got sleep but if you’re hearing sensitive would be aware.

We loved staying at the Edverly Beach House in Bathsheba. It was exactly what we expected from the description and the photos. It is perfectly situated overlooking the ocean and we had additional (unexpected!) We Gatherin' Festival on our doorstep, fantastic cultural experience. We particularly loved the veranda for the views as well as for the very welcome breeze. The kitchen was adequately furnished and we enjoyed working out how to use the oven - start with setting the clock! We stayed in Bathsheba before so we knew what to expect in terms of scenery and the coastline. The local community is extremely welcoming and friendly and thanks to the regulars at The Sea View Bar we are now deeply committed to playing Dominos (kindly gifted to us by the landlady but you can buy them at North Point Animal Flower Cave stalls). Edmund was an excellent host and we also enjoyed Freddie the gardener's chat. We hope the beach house is available when we decide to stay in Bathsheba again.

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

Just had a fantastic stay at Sea Rock's! Barbara and Todd are amazingly helpful and accommodating hosts. We realized that we needed a rental car after we arrived and they arranged this immediately within the hour; the rental car delivered right to our door, fueled and ready to go. Every detail in the appartment was thoroughly thought out to make our stay perfectly comfortable. Will definitely be back to stay with Barbara and Todd!

What can I say, Kerry & Nathan were super hosts. Greeted me on arrival at their wonderful Airb&b. Very friendly and made me feel at home straight away. A wonderful hamper of food awaited us to tie us over for breakfast the next morning and beyond. Their home is spotless and Sasha the cleaning lady came twice a week to change bed linen and general cleaning. Location is exactly what we were looking for. Only 5-7 minutes walk to Oistins (lively in the evenings) but far enough away to have peace and quiet and watch the wonderful sunset in the evenings. 15 minutes drive from the airport. Kerry & Nathan keep up your fantastic work. You are a credit to the Airb&b industry. Thanks again for a memorable stay. Martin 🇮🇪

Sandy View was a beautifully furnished and well appointed condo with ample space for 3 couples. The views from the balcony across the beach were stunning. Volney was fantastic and got us some shopping in for our arrival as the supermarkets were closed early on the Sunday. She serviced the condo regularly and promptly address an issue with the hot water. The booking process was easy and Richard was really helpful before we arrived offering advice on transportation and restaurants. The beach was lovely but be sure to go to Heywood’s beach just 10 mins walk from the condo to the right. Two supermarkets close by were great. I would recommend Baia, Local&Co snd Sand Street Bistro as well as the pizzas at Orange Street Grocer. Pier One about a 1 mile walk right from the condo offers lovely sunbeds and a pool free if you eat there. I would highly recommend @Shasacatamarancruises for a private charter to snorkel and swim with turtles with your food and bar included. Really good value.

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone considering a visit to Barbados to book here. Gregory gave us clear instructions was a great communicator. A very short walk through the gate in the backyard and you are on pristine Carlisle Bay. There were beach chairs & an umbrella reserved each day for our use. We are confident swimmers and each day we snorkeled out to the 2 closest shipwrecks and swam with fish, turtles & stingrays. No need to pay the $$ local tours we’re charging. Nolan is the “beach guy” and he has masks, snorkels, fins, vests, flotation devices etc if needed. Gregory has lived in Barbados for many years and sent us useful links to many restaurants as well as trusted taxi drivers. At sunset we could have a chat & drink with Gregory in the gazebo which is perfectly positioned. The property also had a fire stick with channels from all over the world easily accessible.
