Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Providencia and Santa Catalina Islands

We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Claudia herself but we spent our week in Old Providence taken care of by her partner Currumba. I feel there’s little we could say that would do justice to describe the increíble experience we had staying on High Hill in their lovely home. If you are lucky enough to make it to the island there is no other place I could recommend staying. Thank you so much for welcoming us and for helping to make our time in the Carribean a trip we’ll never forget Currumba. This island is magical and its people truly special. Muchimas gracias por todo ojalá la vida nos regale otra oportunidad para pasar tiempo en High Hill y vivir la buena vida en esa casa tan hermosa.

Encantadora casa cerca al puente de los enamorados. Algún problema con la presión del agua de baño pero afortunadamente encontramos una ducha (manguera) al lado de la casa que preferimos usar. La casa y la ubicación es muy buena, espero que disfruten su estadía como yo lo hice!

Eu amei a estadia! Quarto confortável, tudo muito bonito e organizado. Todos muito gentis, educados, solícitos e, de quebra, ainda tivemos um café da manhã maravilhoso. Foram super flexíveis com o checkout e nos ajudaram no retorno ao aeroporto Definitivamente recomendo a hospedagem!

Un gran lugar. Mi única recomendación es que el huésped no olvide llevar repelente y matazancudos para los cuartos.

We had a wonderful stay at High Hill, with Claudia and Curramba as very pleasant and forthcoming hosts. The house has three nice and comfortable bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom, nice terraces, and it is a great starting point for exploring everything the island has to offer. We hope to come back soon!

The Seaflower is a dream. The setting is picturesque, the kitchen is well-stocked and clean. The rooms are beautiful, you open the window and look out into the water. It’s 5 minutes from the airport and close to Manzanillo and Southwest beaches (highly recommend checking out both!) The manager, Taryn, made this place well worth the price; she truly went above and beyond to not only get us on a new flight when our flight from NYC was delayed but was responsive to every need we had during our stay and gave us excellent recommendations (don’t skip Caribbean Place for dinner). Taryn made our stay 10/10 💜 Can’t wait to return!

Jairo est un hôte exceptionnel, dans les meilleurs hôtes que j’ai visité (si ce n’est pas le meilleurs) ! Il m’a accueille avec une attention particulière, il m’a expliqué en détail l’île de Providencia avec un bon café. Tout au long de mon séjour, il ma grandement aidé et a facilité mon voyage. Avec ses contacts, j’ai pu louer facilement un scooter, faire une excursion en bateau, manger dans de bons restaurants ! Les déjeuners sont aussi très bons 😋 ! La chambre et la maison sont parfaites, telle que décrites sur l’annonce. Bref je recommande à 100% ce petit paradis sur terre ! J’espère y revenir !

The house and rooms are perfect - very clean and well finished. We didn't meet Jairo, but Jennifer, Jairo's wife, helped us with everything. She gave us great recommendations about the island and cooks a delicious breakfast each morning. It is a short walk into centro and Santa Catalina, and you can also easily walk to Maracaibo from the house. Jennifer also helped us get a taxi and has contacts to hire golf carts or motos too. We weren't in the house very much - really just to sleep - the beds were very comfy. The only small thing if you're wanting to spend time in the hammock in the garden, is that you can hear the generator that runs the electricity for the town. However, it's nice and quiet in the rooms. We would stay again. Thanks for your hospitality!

Wir sind sehr froh die Unterkunft von Raul besucht zu haben!! Seine ganze Familie war unglaublich lieb und er hat immer direkt auf jegliche Fragen geantwortet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super! Unserer Meinung nach liegt sie am allerschönsten Strand der Insel, welcher entspannt zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Wir würden die Wohnung jedem empfehlen und haben vor wieder zu kommen!!

Raul is an extremely kind and helpful host. He booked a great boat tour for us and was always responsive to our messages. He also coordinated a scooter rental for us. The location is perfect, walkable to the best beach on the island. Would definitely recommend staying with Raul at Saltwata!

Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour ! Nous avons passé près d’une semaine chez Cidris et Hortensia, qui ont pris soin de nous avec une attention remarquable. Tout était réuni : fruits frais du jardin chaque jour, service de lessive quotidien, location de motos, etc. Le lieu est également superbe : un grand jardin pour se détendre, des hamacs, une ambiance paisible et une vue agréable sur la mer ! Un grand merci également pour votre aide dans l’organisation des activités et pour nous avoir accompagnés jusqu’au départ de l’île. Tout était parfait, merci encore !

Muy buen lugar para quedarse en familia, y la atención muy amigable y rápida, Raúl siempre atento y solucionaba muy rápido. La mejor playa es la que está cerca a este alojamiento. :)

Ce fût un plaisir de séjourner chez Raul, la communication était très fluide et le logement très propre à l'arrivée. Il y avait la clim donc tout était nickel. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Raul en vrai mais il avait l'air super sympathique ! Je recommande.

This little house has everything a couple need for a caribbean vacation. It has a very well equiped kitchen, freezer big enough, a double bed, a private bathroom, and a little outdoor hall with little table and hammock. it's right next to one of the most cute and private beaches (amazing sunsets). it was super clean and Helga and Louisa are the nicest host you can ask for.

Super logement, très confortable, bien équipé et avec une petite terrasse où étendre son linge et se reposer. Une climatisation efficace et des lits confortables. Kildren est très sympathique, arrangeant et fera tout pour que votre séjour se passe bien. Nous avons pu louer des scooters ce qui facilite les déplacements sur l’île. Nous avons pu tester deux logements différents (Kildren nous a surclassé sans le faire exprès et ne nous a laissé profiter du logement avec vue mer sans supplément, ce qui est très gentil de sa part) et pour les 2 logements, rien à redire c’était parfait ! Je recommande a 100% de loger chez Kildren !

Sehr schönes Haus mit grandiosen Ausblick auf die Karibik, auf die Berge, wunderschöner Garten. Das ist Haus toll und stilvoll eingerichtet, viele kleine Details, die man nicht immer sofort erkennt. Wunderbar auf der Terrasse zu sitzen den Ausblick und die Ruhe zu genießen. In der Küche findet man alles was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. Kleine Tiendas sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Etwas länger, ca. 30 Minuten oder etwas mehr dauert es zu Fuß zu den schönen und teils leeren Stränden zu gehen und die Karibik zu genießen. Tipp: guten Sonnenschutz nicht vergessen, und falls Sonnenbrand, frage Martha oder James nach Aloe Vera Pflanze, hilft super!! Satelliten-Internet im Haus hat eine schnelle Geschwindigkeit sodass Working und/oder 4K-Streaming kein Problem darstellt. Das beste war aber, dass Martha bzw. James jederzeit erreichbar waren, tolle Tipps für die kleine Perle Providencia gegeben und mir sehr, sehr geholfen haben aufgrund einer gesundheitlichen Sache! Mill Gracías
