To be short: it was amazing. We needed a stay for one day because we were on our road trip to Sicily. We found this place and were stunned. The village is amazing, the people so heartwarming and Antonio and his parents: what should I say amazing people who were so helpful. I can recommend this place if you want to see aitea and the authentic Italian culture. Thank you so much for everything ❤️

Very well maintained small apartment with very good facilities. Charm of the place noticeable. great view from Portico, recommended the restaurant Al Becco della Civetta. We enjoyed it very much.

Francesco and his family were very kind and helpful hosts. The house is in a beautiful viewpoint very close to the pollen national park to be able to make various routes in nature even during the day. We were with our dog and the huge garden of the house was perfect for her too. Tidy house, equipped with all comforts. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Beautiful property with a beautiful garden and equipped with all comforts. Very clean apartments with attention to the smallest details. We were really pleased with the hospitality and availability of Ezio and Elena. Highly recommended

A very nice place in nature that radiates peace. Due to the many trees and therefore shade around the house, it is wonderfully cool and we actually did not need the air conditioning. There are two, so if necessary, enough to get the house cool. So you can be outside without realizing that it is actually really hot. Castel del Monte is a 5-minute walk away. From there, you can take the shuttle bus for 2 per adult. There is also a nice place to have a drink/ice cream. Many picturesque villages in the area. In short: nice place, definitely recommended and super clean.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Massimiliano’s and Valeria’s place. They welcomed us warmly in person when we arrived and took the time to walk us through the appartment. The appartment is decorated with thoughtful details and had everything we needed for a few days at the seaside. The place is very nicely located on walkable distance to the beach (10 min) and only few minutes from a local supermarkt, bar and a few restaurants and shops. We can’t wait to come back again to Maratea and will definitely stay here again!

Dina and her husband welcomed us with kindness and courtesy. They provided us with many useful tips for the house and for the restaurants of Marina di Camerota, of which I must say "Il tramaglio" is really recommended. Otherwise, everything is great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Luigi’s place. He and his wife were very kind and welcoming and we felt at home. The view is amazing. We went to several places on the coast and should have stayed more as there is so much to visit !

Beautiful house and setting. Very peaceful and quiet. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped in every way, especially kitchen. Bianca was a great host. We hated to leave!

Angela is an amazing person, the accommodation offered is superb, the place is quiet and restful, the pool is a real plus, and the garden with sunbed and hammock is great. Angela recommended us restaurants that were divine, where we were welcomed great, she had even booked for us! In short, go there without so much as a second thought. Big favorite for Malaika and especially Nana, her dogs who are so adorable!

We were very well hosted despite our late arrival. The house is spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the garden and the pool. The house was very clean, located close to many places to visit. Thank you for the great welcome basket. Valeria replied very quickly to all our messages.

Great modern apartment with amazing views and grounds (and best salt water pool). Resort feel and peaceful surroundings made this a delightful break during our tour of Italy. Walking is possible if you are in good shape, located up a steep hill from town, with great views on road further up. Neighbor town was a joy to walk around and dine in evening bustle.

There were two of us traveling with a baby and we felt extraordinarily comfortable. Maria was super friendly and helpful. The village is really wonderfully located and in spring summer certainly perfect for numerous day hikes or by car to the sea. Bar, Marcellaria, Pizzeria, Alimentari all available. In the sunshine you have a wonderful view up to the coast and sometimes to Lipari. The municipality of Tortorella is generally super hospitable and if you want you can even have homemade food brought into the accommodation. We had really nice and cozy days despite winter. Maria was always available for questions, tips, etc. You can tell that you care about the place itself.

We loved the warm greeting from Antonio's mother and her explanation of how the place worked and the delicious homemade cakes and jam! The garden is beautifully laid out and tended with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. The house was insect-free with good fitting fly screens on all windows and shutters. The fire was already prepared and lit when we arrived in May and we used it throughout our stay in the evenings. Had it been warmer we would have used the outside kitchen area and barbecue. Our 5 night stay passed all too quickly and we would love to return and walk further in the Pollino National Park.

Perfect in every way! Alessandro met us at the plaza near the apartment and spend about an hour helping us with our luggage, giving us a tour of the apartment and tips on where to find essential items locally. When we had a problem with the wifi he brought special tools and fixed the connection immediately. By the time we left we considered Alessandro a friend. And the apartment was the nicest and most affordable one we have ever rented on Airbnb. In addition to being a beautiful modern space, it was stocked with all of the essentials you would possibly need for cooking, bathing and laundry. While we enjoyed Rome, Naples, Ostuni and Matera, it was a treat to escape the crowds of tourists and enjoy a quiet, historic, southern Italian town. We could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Alessandro's apartment if you're planning to visit this part of Italy.

Every word would be superfluous to describe Marco's availability and kindness, a rare level of hospitality and when we needed it, he was immediately ready to help us, much more than he was in his duty. Not to mention the location, basically it's a simple country house, then you go out, sit at the table under the gazebo in the garden and it is here that you understand what is special about this place. You can enjoy a breathtaking view that on one side overlooks the valley that then leads to the nearby village of Corleto Perticara, on the other expanses of woods and mountains What can I say, if you're looking for some peace, a few days away from the daily stress, this is the place for you. We had a fabulous stay at Francesca’s house. It is set in gorgeous surroundings, peaceful and a wonderful opportunity for me and the family to spend quality time together. Francesca was so kind, attentive and made us feel ‘home from home’. Thank you for such a lovely stay and looking forward to seeing you next time.

Pietro and his wife Lisa were exceptional. They were great hosts, they helped us out tremendously with an issue we had while we were staying at their place. My daughter was clumsy and hurt herself so we ended up at the doctor (not because the place is unsafe at all) Lisa and Pietro helped us find the place and even stayed while she was being looked at. The stay was very comfortable. The place was very nice and clean. Lisa and Pietro were very friendly to us as well as our kids. I would only choose to stay with them if we are ever in the area again!

Luciana is a caring and attentive host. Her accommodation is impeccably clean and with very spacious rooms. Very good communication. The village of Lavello is very charming. We discovered the evening walk. I recommend it!!

We had a very short but wonderful stay at Giuseppinas place. She’s an incredibly nice person and helped us in whatever we needed. The house is lovely, it feels like you’re in a fairytale :) beautiful nature around, and especially well equipped apartment! We wish we could have stayed longer 🤗
