There is no shower, but well water comes inside the sauna. Drinking water is brought in. The toilet is an outdoor toilet and there is a chamber pot inside if necessary

Berry picking areas and hunting grounds can be found right next to the cottage. With solar power, you can use the appliances in the cottage and charge your mobile phone. There is no running water. The cottage is wood heated.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. No public transport! Car is essential!Two log cabins with electric heating and wood heating. The kitchenette has a refrigerator and two hotplates. The loft can sleep a couple of people. The sauna is great. No running water. Washing water is carried from a well or lake and heated in the sauna's water heater. There is no public transport in the area.
