Holiday rentals with a patio in Puducherry

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Pondicherry! The location is excellent - just a short walk from the beach, which made our mornings and evenings truly refreshing. The place was very clean and had all the basic essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and helpful, making the experience smooth from check-in to check-out. One small point of feedback: the TV was difficult to use due to poor sound clarity, but that didn’t affect our overall experience since we spent most of our time exploring the area. Overall, it's a cozy and convenient place to stay in Pondicherry. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, well-kept spot near the beach! Thank You!

Pros 1)Placed in prime location. 2)Good ambience 3)Enough space for parking cons 1)hot water was available in only one of two rooms. 2)Tv was not working. 3)wifi was not working.

The property was excellent, exactly as shown in the pictures. I traveled with my family, and we had a wonderful stay. Terk was very polite and gave us some great local recommendations. The location is fantastic, with everything you need nearby. Highly recommended!

This was our first time in Puducherry and Dess went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Firstly, he has designed his space very thoughtfully, making sure it has all the required amenities. Secondly, he helped us with whatever requirements we had. Very approachable and kind person. It’s super important to have a good host apart from a nice property and this one was 10/10.

Probably the best investment we made on this trip. The house was very clean, with all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen was beautiful, the rooms were very cozy, the neighborhood was quiet and the privacy was unmatched. The pleasant deck outside was also the highlight. Plenty of sunlight in the daytime and huge windows, we felt fresh at all times, even at night, the spotlights added to the aesthetic. The wifi worked perfectly as well. The owner is very helpful, understanding, responsive and kind, he gave us all the instructions, details, recommendations to visit places, had the smoothest check in ever and did his best to make us feel at home. I definitely recommend to book this villa eyes closed. And truthfully I hope to visit again someday.

Very responsive and helpful host. Clean home which met our needs more than adequately. Due to our limited time and hectic schedule we could not spend time with the host family. We will definitely return in the cooler months and spend more time and explore the lovely city. Thank you guys!!

Mr Raichura is an amazing host!! Really sweet and always available over the call. Has stayed in Mumbai for 50 years and post that moved to Pondicherry. Accessibility: Coming to the property - this varun villa was located in a quiet/peaceful place and promenade, white town, sri aurobindo ashram, auroville are like 20 mins (around 8-10kms- no traffic in pondicherry). Auro Beach and serenity beach are like 10 mins from this place. Paradise beach is 30 mins. Promenade beach is 20 mins. Super convenient place and if you have a car/two wheeler you will be sorted. About the Villa: The ground floor is a 3 bhk and the upper floor is leased out. -Stove, fridge and utensils available in kitchen -All rooms have AC and geyser fitted - Bedsheets and all were washed and blankets were provided -Washing machine was not there but Mr Raichura was sweet enough to allow us to wash clothes in his washing machine only con was that the tenants on first floor were partying all night one of the nights.

Hi there, we had great stay at this property. Owner is very friendly and approachable. The premise looks exactly what shown in the images. We didn’t feel that we are away from our home. Highly recommend this place for family stay.

Best place for family and friends for budget friendly stay in Pondicherry and rock beach is just 10mins walk

If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway, away from the hustle, then this a perfect place! A secluded, serene and beautiful property! Wake up to beautiful bird calls and the rustle of leaves in the wind! The cottage and amenities are as promised. A well designed cottage with beautiful aesthetics! For me personally, the patio was incredible! The swimming pool is a minute away, amidst a beautiful setting! Special thanks to Dushar (caretaker). Jolly good fellow always greets you with a smile and sorts out pretty much everything you need! A big heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Ms. Bidisha for making our trip so memorable! As a wonderful host, she went out of her way to help us with all our requests and ensured our time at the property was perfect!

The property is located right in the heart of White Town, making it super convenient to explore all the charming cafes, beaches, and shops nearby. Had a great 2-night stay — the place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. It is near to Rock beach and walkable to many good restaurants and French colony. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable visit!

The place itself is beautiful and squeaky clean. They have a beautiful terrace and the location is at a walkable distance to all the amenities that you’re going to be needing for your trip, scooty on rent, restaurant, beer shops etc are all at a walkable distance. The owner also is proactive in solving the problems that were there like the pedestal fan in the outside sitting area was not working, and i told it to the owner, they responded within minutes and an electrician came within an hour of the complaint. The only minute disappointment which i had was with the parking arrangements, the car has to be parked on the streets while it is safe and I have no complaints except for the excessive amount of bird goo that plagued my car. Parking being the only concern the place is otherwise great and does not disappoint in any ways whatsoever.

We stayed at the Blue Whale Apartment for two days, and it was unforgettable! The location was fantastic—right near White Town and close to Promenade Beach. My son picked it, and he was thrilled, especially with the bunk bed crafted with net and sea shells. It was his first time sleeping on such a bed, and he couldn’t stop smiling! The apartment’s ocean theme was stunning. Daniela, our host, is so talented—every room had a unique vibe, from the boat-made dining table to the amazing hanging bed. Daniela’s poem on the wall was such a thoughtful touch, and her warm welcome made us feel at home. Her quick responses to all our questions were much appreciated. We cooked tea and snacks, but the ambiance felt like a dream house. The artifacts in every corner were so pure and the hanging basket for deliveries were a delight. The only downside is the third floor with no lift. Still, it was worth it—every detail was picture-perfect. We left with lifelong memories and can’t wait to visit again.🥰

I came to pondy for newyear with my friends and we chose utkalika for our stay.Everything was just perfect starting from the check in until we checked out.The host even let us check out a little bit late cuz we had our train in the evening. The host was very understanding and helpful. We would confidently recommend utkalika for anyone looking for a peaceful stay ❤️
