We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Alexandra, qui a été très accueillante et disponible pour nous. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions dans le logement (serviettes, cotons tiges, café, thé…) et avons pu profiter pleinement du lieu (mention spéciale au jacuzzi !) Je recommanderai sans aucun doute ce logement à l’avenir !

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

Notre séjour chez Mike a été très agréable. Un endroit très paisible, chaleureux et ressourçant ! L’hôte, Mike est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, à l’écoute, discret et disponible rapidement. Je donne un 10/10 au séjour.

Nous avions choisi l’appartement de Aude pour sa proximité avec l’autoroute, sans toutefois aucun désagrément sonore, l’environnement est très calme. Nous sommes arrivés plus tard que prévu, aux alentours de 22h mais avons été très bien accueilli ! Le logement était conforme aux photos, facile à trouver et Aude à été très réactive. Le lit parapluie était déjà monté. Bref, une petite escale rapide et reposante sur la route des vacances ! Merci encore

Un logement incroyable avec une mention spéciale pour la cuisine (spacieuse, très bien équipée, un vrai plaisir de cuisiner en famille). Le logement est chaleureux, la literie très confortable. Il est spacieux et décoré avec goût. Nous avons aussi apprécié le fait d’avoir une salle de bains pour chacune des chambres, le spa à l’extérieur, le charme du petit village. Merci aussi à Dominique, la personne avec laquelle nous avons été en contact, qui a été réactive chaque fois que nous l’avons sollicitée.

We had a fantastic family vacation and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful home, views and great amenities. The children especially enjoyed the swimming pool while the adults enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful views. We had everything we needed and the house was spacious and perfectly clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

The house was really beautiful and had a good size outdoor area which was great for sunbathing and relaxing. Katherine left us a welcome pack which included fresh croissants and bread, orange juice, milk, butter, jam and a very nice bottle of wine! Very much appreciated. Each room has a fan and the shutters keep the house nice and cool. The house is in a quiet location but perfect for exploring the Dordogne and Charente. A car is a must.

Fiona nous a chaleureusement accueilli. Elle a sué de montrer disponible et flexible sur l’entrée et le départ. Le cadre-jardin est sublime. Un endroit paisible pour se reposer. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir l’année prochaine.

We hebben heerlijk verbleven in het huis. De aankomst was beetje vroeger en was geen probleem. Super vriendelijke mensen die altijd klaar stonden en direct reageerde. De locatie was heel rustig en genieten ! Zeker een aanrader voor tot rust te komen

Super logement avec une maison nickel et très bien équipée et un jardin superbement entretenu dont nous avons pu profiter pleinement . Emplacement paisible en campagne . Jean Luc et Josiane sont des hôtes adorables qui nous ont très bien accueilli. Merci à eux

Excellent séjour d’une semaine chez Laurence et Alain dans un environnement aussi beau que serein. Le gîte, authentique par sa construction, est également très fonctionnel et très bien équipé. La pièce de vie reste par ailleurs fraîche même lorsque les températures extérieures dépassent les 30 degrés. Laurence et Alain sont des hôtes attentifs, très réactifs et toujours de bon conseil sur les sorties et visites à proximité. Un autre atout du gîte, et non des moindres, les chiens y sont accueillis et nos deux chiennes ont pu profiter des vacances avec nous.

The hosts were nice and friendly, they gave us recommendations where to go and what to do. The place is big quite and in front of beautiful nature. I would highly recommend it.

Séjour parfait chez Lizzie et Pascal. Le lieu est magnifique et paisible et l’accueil fort sympathique. Notre petit pigeonnier était très cosy et très agréable! Parfait pour notre séjour! L’emplacement est très central entre bergerac, sarlat et Périgueux mais également proche des magnifiques différents villages de la région. Nous avons eu du mal à repartir!

we stayed at the Gite for 15 days. Inga & Marco were very welcoming & attentive throughout our stay. The accommodation was spacious & met all our needs for our stay. We had access to a lovely pool on one side. At front we had a patio which was lovely for our lunch & dinner. it is very private & secluded. The gite is in a great location with beautiful villages nearby. Inga & Marco were fabulous hosts, so helpful. We would recommend this gite

Superbe maison très bien équipée, disposant de tout le nécessaire et même plus.

Hébergement très confortable, propre, au calme, dans un joli village qui permet de belles balades et à la belle saison, qui offre un restaurant au pied des falaises d'huîtres pour boire un verre de vin local. La climatisation a été fort appréciée pendant notre week-end de canicule. Agnès nous a fourni toutes les informations nécessaires à notre arrivée et à notre départ.

We've been 4 years in a row so that says a lot! Katie and Matt are such good hosts and nothing is too much trouble inc. booking restaurants etc. if your French isn't up to it. The location is gorgeous with views across the valley and lots of wildlife to see inc. deer and wildboar if you are lucky. The meals provided as part of your stay are good restaurant quality - what's nicer than to be served a superb meal sat outside in the sun looking at the view with no one else around. The thick walls of the gite keep it cool in the summer.

Wir waren eine knappe Woche auf dem wunderschönen Landsitz von Adrian und Linda. Das Apartment mit eigenem Zugang bietet alle erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten - perfekt ausgestattet Küche mit Mixer, Blender, Salatschleuder, schönem Geschirr, hochwertige Küchengeräte etc. Das offene Schlafzimmer mit einem sehr bequemen Bett und wunderbarer Bettwäsche lässt sich nach Klimaanlage kühlen. Die Terrasse mit eigenem Gasgrill, den wir mehrmals im Einsatz hatten hat Blick auf den wunderschönen Pool mit kleiner Chill-Area, die wie vieles andere liebevoll gepflegt wird. Unser Highlight war u. a. der Boulplatz und der Gemüsegarten, wo wir Salat und Kartoffeln ernten konnten. Mit dem Auto haben wir die schönen Orte und Märkte im Umland erkundet. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen.

We had a lovely time staying at Eric and Fabianne’s beautiful guest house. The riverside setting is idyllic, and we loved the picturesque rural surroundings and historic towns. Our hosts had everything on hand for our baby son and he had a very happy stay. The setting balances tranquility with easy access to shops and restaurants by car. It’s an ideal hub to explore Bordeaux. Huge thanks to our wonderful hosts.

A beautiful gite in very peaceful location. Was extremely handy for the wedding we attended in the chateau just 5 minutes walk away. Lovely pool. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace for a quiet drink. Lovely family time. Thank you so much Emmanuelle.

We had a wonderful stay! It was a beautiful gîte -so idyllic, with clean, modern appliances and kitchen. The pool was clean and fresh, the outdoor seating was perfect and a great spot for a BBQ and the view was amazing! We’d recommend to anyone. It’s 15 mins drive from Bergerac, Eymet and Issigeac, so there’s plenty of picturesque French towns to visit around. It’s private and although there’s another gîte in site, we felt like we had the pool to ourselves! Balbina was also so accommodating with our baby - she provided cot and high chair. It was just perfect!
