Escape to the Papamoa countryside at our Farmstay retreat. Situated beside the beautiful Papamoa Hills walk with amazing views. Just 7–10 minutes from beaches, cafés & shops. Here you can feed our friendly farm animals, kids can play on the trampoline or in the wide-open field out front, while you relax in the double hammock. Then unwind under the stars in the spa or toast marshmallows by the firepit. Modern interior with a full kitchen, comfy beds, aircon or woodburner depending on the season.

Card games, full kitchen to make a great breakfast/dinner/baking. enjoy some Bali in Papamoa. There are also good walking tracks not to far from here, up to Papamoa Hills. A perfect quiet location and a tv for movies on rainy days.

Luxury Lake Retreat

Contact us with the vision for your event and we will help you make it a reality. We have equipment on-site to make things easy (including fold out tables/chairs with matching white cloth, 2nd fridge, chilly bins, etc. We also provide boardroom and other styles for meetings with connectivity (HDMI or wireless) to large screens in lake view lounge/dining areas. Walnut Farm homestay

Our place is self contained , separate from the main house. 2 bedrooms are upstairs access 2nd bedroom through first. No full oven but several other cooking options. One hour to Rotorua or Tauranga, less than 30 mins to Rotorua lakes or Whakatane .15 mins drive to Kawerau closest New World supermarket. Homestay is behind our house so follow the gravel drive around ours to park next to our woodshed. Sorry no EV charge available but charging stations are close by in Kawerau or Whakatane
