Our home and stay was fantastic! House was perfect for what we needed and we had a great time!

The cabin was just as described. It was decorated nicely and had a stocked kitchen garage with ping pong air hockey and a wonderful hot tub! Peaceful and private we enjoyed the rain while relaxing inside. We ate at a newer restaurant called the Rex family restaurant highly recommended!

Its a great place to stay. This cabin offers a serene retreat surrounded by nature, making it ideal for families or groups seeking relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.

The host was very helpful and made the trip go great . Would return and stay again.

We planned this trip months in advance. Unfortunately a couple days before our trip a tornado went through the area. She immediately contacted us when she learned the power was out. We decided to go to the house and see if it had been restored but the power was still out. Megan went above and beyond to help us and was able to provide us another place to stay. We had a wheelchair bound family member with us so we were not easy to accommodate. We were not at this original location long but it was clean and as described. I know it would have been a great place to stay.

This cabin was an easy choice. Most importantly It’s pet friendly. The road the cabin sits on works perfectly for walking the dogs. There are two sides to the porch. The side with the grill and hot tub is completely screened in so my dogs were able to come out and join us without escaping. You can also enjoy the hot tub without all the bugs. The other side of the porch however is open to enjoy the fresh air and the sounds of the forests. You do not have a private pool, but the resort this cabin is located in offers three pools to use during your stay! Both times we visited the pool area we had it all to ourselves so it felt private.Last, and probably my favorite amenity, is the option to rent a golf cart to get around the resort in. The views you see driving up the mountain in the cart are astounding! Driving down is the fun part! You won’t regret booking this cabin! The owners are kind and helpful. They gave us info on several things to do in the area and made sure we were comfortable

We had a great stay. It felt like home for 3 days. We swam at the pool enjoyed the hot tub, and walked down to the boat ramp and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The hosts were very attentive.

My kids and I spent six amazing days together in Burnside. The house was lovely. The area was beautiful. The house was stocked with all the things. Jennifer was very responsive the few questions I had. We would definitely stay here again.

We visit family a few times a year and this may be our new favorite place. Clean, inviting, comfortable living room furniture and close to everything we needed. Even with a shared wall we did not hear the neighbors.

We absolutely loved this place!!! It had everything you would need in a “home away from home”. They thought of every detail and we will definitely be back. Everything is so clean and beautifully decorated!!! It’s so nice to have the host be so communicative and helpful. Very nice accommodations all around. We loved the binder with all the information when we arrived. Everything was so well organized too!!!

This quaint getaway was perfect for my fiancé and I to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin was on a hill which was unexpected, but luckily I had an SUV and was able to get up the driveway. There is not much of a grass area, so if you’re bringing a furry friend make sure their paw pads are capable of climbing around rough terrain. Lee and Sharon were great hosts and offered to take us around the property on the ATV. Just a heads up; if you’re looking to get alcohol, make sure you bring some with you as the nearest store is 30 minutes each way outside of town! Make sure to check out the Snak Shak for the most delicious banana split ever! Great place to stay if you’re looking for some fresh air and a fresh mind.

The hosts were so friendly! We were arriving to the property late at night and tom stayed up late to make sure we found our cabin. The place was clean and warm. The decor was amazing! We felt right at home. We were welcomed to feed the koi fish and even got to meet their furry friends. The property was beautiful. Overall 10/10 and would definitely stay again!

Lisa was a wonderful host. From the beginning she was helpful and always responded bavk to me. The house was very accommodating to our family of 7. Lots of extras that we appreciated. The bedding was so soft. I realize there was a broom after 3 days of staying it was outside on the back porch. Also I found the washer and dryer I never remembered reading about it. Its in the bathroom off the kitchen the double doors. You have to take the closet door off the hinges to access the dryer. That is some important information. Thanks for everything Lisa.

The weather was a bummer for our weekend of hopeful hiking but we were able to make the most of it thanks to the coziness of the place! We found a couple hikes and enjoyed the water close by, watched some movies, played games and spent time as a family which was the goal. It stopped raining long enough to enjoy a bonfire the last night which was nice and we appreciated that the wood was provided! All in all we had a great time. We would’ve liked to be a bit closer to some of the hiking spots but all in all, we got what we came for despite the uncontrollable weather. Jennifer was a wonderful host and we’ll cherish the memories of our weekend!

My Grandson and I stayed here had a blast. Nice and quiet. We come to the lake every year but this was the first time we stayed here. Not far from the lake. beautiful!

This place was perfect for a weekend at the lake. Plenty of space and amenities for a large group. Tucked away for privacy with great views.

Katie was very easy to work with and very attentive to any questions or issues that came up.

We were pleasantly surprised at how homey and comfortable the cabin was. It's very quiet and peaceful here; in a horse farm setting with the cabin decorated in a horse ranch theme. We enjoyed our stay in Nancy so much that we found a house here to purchase. Thank you very much; y'all we're great.

Our family was in town for a funeral and we booked this home last minute. It has everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing time. We spent most of our time in the large kitchen and upstairs balcony with a grill and plenty of furniture for everyone to sit and have a meal. Host was very responsive and made the home ready with any requests. Highly recommend!

The cottage was clean, neat, and modernly decorated absolutely no complaints or concerns. A must see is the Mill Spring civil war museum it opened in 2019. It will take a day to properly tour it. There is a 21 mile audio tour around the battle sites. The scenery is stunning and would be spectacular in the fall. A 13 minute drive to the Urban StillHouse restaurant- features an upscale dining experience that you won’t forget. They have a professional chef that came out to our table to chat. It was simply the best meal I have had in years, the presentation of the meal and sides was first class and our waiter was super attentive. Very cozy ambiance with a large gas fireplace was very inviting. There is a jazz bar across the street to complete the evening. If you’re bringing the whole family the swimming pool is about 100 steps away. Boat rentals are available at the marina. If hiking is more your style there are plenty of trails - but the easiest best groomed are the trails at the museum.

Karla’s home was beautiful and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. She was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. I’d definitely consider staying with Karla again.

We have stayed at many of the cabins and condos at Golden Pond resort and this has been our favorite! We loved the peaceful woodsy setting and tucked away location. The little mini guest cabin is so cool…perfect for the members of your party who need extra quiet. The cabin is well built and comfortable. We loved our stay!

Such a cute little cabin we really enjoyed our stay. We made tons of memories. I love the kitchen and everything it had in it and my children truly loved the writing station. It definitely is family friendly, and made for families with children.
