We had a great time staying at Dwayne’s place! Beautiful views of the lake in the evenings and plenty of golf courses within a 30 minute radius. Will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have needed – and then some. It truly felt like a home away from home. Don was incredibly welcoming, responsive, thoughtful and making sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The location was ideal – peaceful and safe, and only 10 minutes from the VT campus. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation with our family and it was perfect. So much better than staying at a hotel! This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had, and we would return in a heartbeat. If you’re considering booking a place close to Blacksburg, don’t hesitate – it’s an absolute gem!

Had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. Ample space for all the family to enjoy their own space. Three floors to enjoy!

We had three families vacation together that included 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub each day. Ruth made sure both were cleaned and ready each day for us. Our first night we had pizza delivered since we all had traveled that day but then we cooked dinner each night after. We utilized the crockpot and air fryer the most. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The back porch was beautiful and we spent a lot of time there. The afternoon showers were peaceful to watch from the porch. The kids really enjoyed the TV room. They were able to spread out and relax in the evenings after dinner. Grocery shopping was easy and very close by the house. We didn’t venture outside the house other to grab groceries. The kids favorite part was when Ruth and Cowboy Sam stopped by with his horse April. He let each kid ride April. It was a nice surprise! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Had a great stay! It felt super comfortable. We had the easiest check in, we’ve ever had on Airbnb which was a plus after a long drive. The rooms/beds were comfortable and spacious. The washer & dryer was great along with the hot tub. It was super easy to come and go with the check in. There is 1 place that’s mainly a bar with food & that’s about it for food nearby. i’d say that’s the only con but given the area of wv it’s understandable just buy groceries! had a great stay, would come again.

Overall, it was a beautiful stay. We were grateful to be able to stay for our granddaughter's graduation. We felt like the animal heads were a bit excessive, and the young children were a little afraid, it was really like a museum, but a lot was displayed on the site, and it made the stay interesting. It was a little farther than we wanted to go, because we were all coming from the North, but overall, everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the home and stay. You may want to fix the chairs in the kitchen and give the outdoors a little facelift in the back, it's so beautiful, but looked possibly pre-season neglected. Also, we missed having a cheese grater. We really enjoyed the ground hog with the 2 babies, and it brought joy to everyone watching them come out and sun. It would be nice to have a hand guard rail on the dock ramp for seniors, it was pretty steep. Thank you again for hosting us for our joyful family occasion. It was very memorable!

Good location away from the town and great hospitality

I recently stayed at this fantastic Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The accommodations were plentiful and exceeded my expectations—everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and beautiful. The little touches (k-cups, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and board games) were much appreciated. Our host, Debbie, was responsive and provided excellent instructions prior to our arrival making check-in and settling in a breeze. It was clear they genuinely cared about their guests’ experience. The location was perfect, just a short drive from the Virginia Tech campus and Christiansburg, which made it easy to spend time in the area. Overall, this Airbnb was a wonderful choice for our stay and hope to return for a future visit. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Alicia was a proactive and responsive host to a great home that afforded a very restful stay. Amenities were the best we’ve ever experienced at an Air B&B. Coffee, snacks, toiletries, plentiful supplies and quality towels and linens added to the experience. The welcome gifts (a strudel from a local bakery and bottle of wine) were enjoyed and were a classy touch. We booked the home to relax with family over Easter. The home exceed all expectations. Highly recommend this home and host.

We stayed here for my son's graduation from Virginia Tech, about 45 minutes away. The home was spotless and very comfortable. We were able to really enjoy the time with our family. Sherry was very responsive when we had a question. Thank you for sharing your home!

The house and farm were absolutely beautiful! We loved the location as it was easy to get to the main roads, yet felt like you were away from everything. The house was very comfortable and had many nice touches, including some delicious beef jerky from the farm! Tom and Madeline were super friendly and were very responsive when the WiFi needed to be reset. It was cool to hear some of the history of the farm too. And our dog loved sitting on the porch watching the cows and all the activity. And as a bonus, he got to play with their dogs too! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay!! We will definitely be back again. Thanks for everything.

This home is so cute and cozy! We all felt right at home here! The hosts were extremely help and responsive and even helped us find transportation service to get to Lane Stadium. We will definitely come back!!

Russell and Sharmin met us on arrival. Their place was just as described, very clean and neat. The coffee nook was perfect and plenty of K cups. The extras in the bathroom if you forgot anything was great! The A/C worked awesome and was easy to use. If you like Deer bring your camera! The country setting was peaceful after a long busy day. Sit on the deck with a glass of wine and wait for the deer. Perfect location if you have to travel to Christiansburg or Radford. Highly recommended

Deltopia was a little off the beaten track but Michael's excellent directions got us right there. The home is well cared for in a beautiful setting right on the river. We loved all the games and equipment that were available. The house being all on one level worked perfectly for us. We took trips to Spinning Jenny Winery, Draper Mercantile & Stores, and down to the Blue Ridge Music Center for a wonderful free midday concert. The Center itself has an informative museum that we really enjoyed. We did struggle a little with our phone service but were able to use WIFI calling so that worked out. It was a wonderful place to gather for our sibling get together.

We did a graduation girls trip here and it was absolutely gorgeous! We had a lot of fun through the cloudy and rainy spotted days, that didn’t stop us! We swam in the lake, tanned, did a movie/game night, and we were on the patio every night. We felt so comfortable and at home together, and best of all we all got closer than we already were! It was the perfect weekend and we will 100% be coming back!

Had a very relaxing weekend with the pups, woke up to a beautiful view every morning and got to see a bunch of wildlife just In the front yard! i will definitely be looking forward to staying here again!

It’s clear the host put a lot of care into making the space feel welcoming and functional. Little touches like labeled cupboards, blackout curtains, and a great coffee setup made a big difference. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and exactly as described—if not better. If you’re looking for a stay that blends style, comfort, and convenience, this is the one. Greg and Chris were great hosts! Their home was exactly like the pictures. They left snacks, waters, utensils and plenty of coffee for us. The house was located in the country not far from Virginia Tech. It was great for our kids to have space to play outside.
