Beachfront holiday rental in Puna'auia

John's accommodation is clean, well located on the West Coast near restaurants and a public beach. The nights are quiet! We don't even hear the roosters 😂 and after a few atolls it feels good. Located on the ground floor of a house, it is a little dark, it's true, but Moorea is experienced outside and everything you need to spend a few days there is available, including air conditioning for the most demanding. I personally rented a scooter based on his recommendations to travel all over the island. John and his mom are adorable, easily offer a hike or even a tour of the island by car: nothing is overrated, everything is true, simple and deeply human.

Jean-Pierre was an amazing host. He walked us through the check in process and even had some food in the fridge for us to start out. This was AMAZING because we had a long flight and just wanted to go to bed. We had enough to start us out for breakfast in the morning before heading to the store the following day. My husband and I appreciate everything this space and Jean-Pierre had to offer.

Dolly was very nice and accommodating with our needs. Her family leaves near by which makes it a friendly and welcoming place. We would definitely come back!

Very nice home with beautiful flowers and trees (some of them have fruit too!). The swimming pool was great to have. Although the home is tucked away and private, it is in a good location with plenty of choices of food and restaurants.

This place was amazing! Tamara is so kind, very quick to respond to any question. We needed a ride from the ferry terminal and she set us up with a driver to meet us there and even to stop at a grocery store to get food. The place is BEAUTIFUL, we loved cooking in the outdoor kitchen and loved the open feel. The private beach access was great too, we saw reef sharks, an eagle ray and turtle from just off the shore. She was very flexible with check in, and walked us through everything clearly to know all we needed to know. Would DEFINITELY recommend staying here!

Beautiful, peaceful location! The home & property are well maintained. We loved the pool & outdoor sitting areas. The garden area is a tropical oasis. And the friendly outdoor kitty 🐈‍⬛ was an added bonus. The kitchen is well equipped including spices for cooking. There are a few nearby restaurants. A rental car is essential. This home is ideal for one or two couples. Owners were very responsive.

An atypical place, feet in the black sand. A very warm welcome from Marie Josée and John , we were like family . We laughed , eaten well and we'll surely come back to see the rabbits more closely. One night in the rain is too short to fully appreciate the place and the hosts .

Fantastic, what a pleasure to find such a quality accommodation with exceptional hosts... The house is extremely well equipped, bright with an incredible view... Our stay could not have been more perfect... The pool is also very pleasant.. A public beach is nearby.. I can only recommend Bernadette and Moise's house... Go there with your eyes closed ..

We arrived after 10pm and Tituaua was there with a warm greeting and tour of the space and amenities. She had a cold bottle of water and some snacks waiting for us, and got us hooked up to the wifi. The space is exactly like the photos. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There is occasional street noise, but it's very quiet at night. The shower was really nice and had good water flow for washing thick hair. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking if you want to. Titaua is a lovely host, we had a few lovely mornings sharing coffee and conversation. Also, her dog, Luna, is an absolute love who joined us whenever we were outside, including swimming all over the lagoon with us. We drove all over the island and snorkeled at all the public beaches on Tahiti & Moorea, but by far the best reefs and fish and clearest waters were right off our beach. The only challenge is that the shore is all rocks and you have to walk out a bit to get deep enough water. I really hope to return!

Vaimiti was a great host from the day we arrived until we left. The place was very clean as described, had the basic necessities, beautiful location and view a pool was a plus. Our driver had difficulty getting there at night, vaimiti was very helpful and got us there safe. If you are looking for a place to stay in Tahiti I would highly recommend this place.

Great place where everything was at our disposal: hair dryer, oil, vinegar, snorkel masks... We loved our stay with Maël who was also kind enough to give us great advice on things to do, restaurants to eat… Thank you again for everything!!

House/location was exactly as advertised. For Tahiti, which is generally not walkable outside Papeete, this place is very walkable - to a grocery, the beach, a park, and several casual (tasty) food options. Host was very responsive and helpful, and the house was immaculate and well-maintained. We stayed for 2 months and the extra house cleaning was greatly appreciated! We would definitely come back!

I needed a remote place to just relax and enjoy my time. The bungalow is right at the ocean, very private yard. I was there alone and felt really safe. Beautiful, peaceful… although at nights the ocean is loud - I needed to use my earplugs 😀

We had a wonderful 18 hour overnight layover and couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge. The host was responsive and helpful from the start making the autonomous check in seamless. The apartment was perfect for us-clean, comfortable and close to the airport. We rented a car to drive to the waterfalls which was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the waves. The black sand beach was a unique sight. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

The location is fabulous - right on the water. The host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast served on the patio was amazing each morning. We loved snorkelling right in front of the unit and saw an abundance of fish life! The water clarity was superb. Thank you for a lovely stay.
