The great happiness

Just 200 m from the sea and yet protected from the wind, is Casa Kalisat "House of Happiness." Surrounded by breathtaking volcanic landscape, the clear starry sky at night, the power of the tides, you will find peace and closeness to nature in a beautiful living atmosphere. Throughout the village you can be undressed. Nudism is welcome here, but not mandatory. There is a supermarket in Charco and several good island-typical restaurants in Mala and Arrieta, where there is also a long, flat sandy beach, suitable for children and surfers. A protected swimming area (200 m) made of natural lava rock allows swimming at high tide all year round. A rock (500 m) with a step ladder is the perfect access to the sea for swimmers and divers. Several hiking trails start behind the house. The most beautiful leads directly to the excursion point “Jardin de Cactus”, by the famous island artist César Manrique.

Our 2nd stay at this property with our 3 generation family and I suspect it won’t be our last. The location is just beautiful, 10 steps and you can be in the sea. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast on the roof terrace watching the world go by. You can take a coffee or a glass of wine over to the wall and people watch, lots of coming and going. It’s a beautiful corner of the island with so much to explore, or just relax and listen to the waves , whatever takes your fancy. It’s super quiet at night and really restful. You can normally park outside the door, rarely need to go much further. Communication was great throughout our stay, even out of hours when we had no water (village wide issue). The home is spotless, beautifully presented and well equipped. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this unspoilt slice of heaven

We had truly wonderful time in Helle's apartment, located probably in the most fascinating area of the island, when you need to relax and recharge your batteries and, eventually, do some remote working. We had an issue with the hairdryer and it was promptly resolved, great service! Looking forward to our next staying, hopefully longer than 1 week!!!

Elenas Romantic place was most comfortable and welcoming. Especially the bed ! My partner & I felt most at home and loved the private pool and terrace. Elena was flexible and welcoming, offering suggestions for travel and local restaurants. Highly recommended for a getaway.
