Holiday houses in Punta Santiago

It was our first time in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and everyone loved and enjoyed the place from the pool to the barbecue grill. Only five minutes until the nearest shops and restaurants/bars. We will be back and hopefully enjoy the same location, ty Jessica for sharing your home

San Pedrito is exactly as it looks in the photos — peaceful, picturesque, and full of intentional details that make the place feel homey. We went toward the end of June, and despite there being no AC, the house’s location in the mountains plus two fans made the room comfortable, even brisk, at night. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We rented this AirBB while we searched for a home to buy on the east coast. Ironically, the home we purchased is literally down the same street in Verde Mar, and the same model/floorplan as this AirBB. We loved this home, the neighborhood, and the proximity to the beach and essential services/stores/resturants so much, that we bought one of our own !!! 🤣 Johanna and Elizabeth have been absolutely wonderful, check on us to make sure all is good, and ask if we need anything, etc. The house is darling ! Typical smaller size home in Puerto Rico, but fit our family of three and dogs just fine. In full honesty here, I actually inquired if the house was available for sale, because we loved it so much. It wasnt, but we found one with the same floorplan a few doors down, that we hope to make as nice as this AirBB in time. I usually dont write reviews, as I usually am not impressed with people, products, or services, so to write this review means more than you know. Love it here !

Home was comfortable and real nice. Loved looking at the lake in front of the house as it brings certain serenity and peaceful vibes. Overall we are happy with this property and will consider them again.

Our stay at Maribel’s home was overall wonderful! I’m giving 5 stars because the power outage was completely out of her control — the power went out the day we arrived and stayed out for two days. Even growing up in Puerto Rico, the heat without electricity was tough to manage. With the ongoing issues with LUMA, I recommend all Airbnbs in the area consider backup options like solar panels or generators. I purchased lanterns to safely walk around at night, and Maribel quickly refunded me as I left them behind for future guests. The home was thoughtfully stocked with basic essentials like Q-Tips, towels, and more, plus a welcome kit. There were also beach chairs, an umbrella, coolers, and other supplies perfect for trips to the beach, river, or even just relaxing at the house. Despite the power outage, Maribel’s hospitality, quick communication, and attention to detail made a big difference. I would definitely stay again — hopefully with backup power next time! #PalCarajoLUMA

Place was very clean and Host was super responsive and welcoming; helped us find the place because we were a little lost, they also owned the bar and grill next door and invited us over! It’s super close to a bakery as well that opens early and stays open late.

The house was relatively easy to find, and I really enjoyed being able to park in the driveway, behind the sliding gate. The kitchen was stocked with all you’d need to cook, including some rice, peanut butter, syrups, cereal, and even a couple cans of chef Boyardee! You are right next door to a bar, which can be very noisy at night, but the DJ/loud music would stop around 8 PM (on the weekends). I don’t believe that hey played music on the weekdays. Several nice spots to eat within 5-10 minutes, and the drive to the ferry to Vieques/Culebra wasn’t too bad. Enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves across the street, although the beach itself didn’t seem like it was suited for sunbathing/swimming. When we arrived, we ventured over and there was too much sea debris (twigs/tires/palm leaves/etc) to put down a towel. There was a lot of outdoor seating on the balcony of the air bnb (chairs, benches, a picnic bench, etc) and cushions were provided! Would stay again!

The house is nicely located on a quiet street and a short walk to a great beach and wonderful restaurants on the Melecon. We spent most our time up on the rooftop deck having coffee in the morning and enjoying the sunsets at night. We would definitely stay again!
