Glamping style covered tent

It far exceeded all my expectations for a "glamping" adventure. Loved every minute on the property. The five miles of secondary roads became a little taxing driving them every day for 30 nights stay. It's in the Rainforest, how much cooler could it be? I loved the entire island. I want to come back now, just 36 hours later. Thank you again Sharon!

Apapane Cottage

WilliamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place was an amazing place to see a volcano! Everything in the description is spot on and it is very peaceful. Very clean and tidy. Owner kept in touch entire time when we needed. We were lucky enough to see episode 24 eruption and watch the sky turn red as we soaked in the hot tub. 5 minutes from main gates. Could not have asked for more.

Pueo Cottage

This is the best place to stay for your Volcano adventure! The hale is well designed, immaculately clean, and so cozy! The unit was exactly like the photos. Kiersten did a great job of giving clear instructions on finding the place and check in was a breeze. I highly recommend this place!

Starry nights on a lava field!

SujalaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
One of the most unique and magical experiential stays I’ve discovered on Airbnb. Place looks better than photos and is more comfortable than expected. Perfect kitchen, utilities and amenities despite being off the grid. Literally on a lava field and also close to the ocean (however, swimming is not accessible, fyi). This home made me feel otherworldly and nurturers my spiritual energy. We had 3 beautiful nights and hope I get to come back. Kaimu farmers market close by on Saturdays is a must to checkout. Volcano national park is an hr drive away but totally worth driving to and from. The other gate entrance to the park is only a mile away to reach by foot (no cars allowed). An incredibly cool experience to wander around in the field. This was one of the highlights of my trip to Hawaii. Highly recommend!

Volcano Tea House Cottage 2-HotTub-FirePlace

MillieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Wow, this place was such a peaceful retreat! Tucked into a beautiful hāpuʻu forest just minutes from Volcano National Park, it felt super private and quiet, perfect for relaxing and recharging. The Japanese-inspired touches were beautiful, featuring artwork, detailed dishes, and a calming vibe throughout. The furo-style hot tub was next level… soaking under the ferns with cool air and birdsong? Unreal. The fireplace in the living area added such a nice romantic touch to our evenings, allowing us to reflect on our day We were fortunate enough to catch the live lava flow nearby; seeing Pele in action was a powerful and unforgettable experience. It made the whole experience feel even more special and connected to the land. Loved how close it was to hiking trails, great local restaurants, and the weekend farmers market just a short drive away. You truly get the best of both worlds: nature and convenience. Highly recommend if you’re looking to escape the hustle and breathe for a while.

Country Guest Home

Awesome stay here! Beautiful wraparound deck with vibrant garden and flowers. Prakasit’s dad greeted us when we arrived and kindly let us know he was in the other house if we needed anything. He also respected our privacy. The studio was great with comfortable beds, a full kitchen with everything you need to cook including spices, and a full bathroom. Amazing value for what you get. A minor concern came up and Prakasit was on top of it right away. Would recommend this place 110%!

Volcano Home/AC/Dishwasher/Bidet

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was great to stay at Simon & Jeri's Volcano AirBnB. Responsive hosts. Personalized greeting. Everything is new. Clean. Beautiful. Thoughtful details, including the sand table. Really enjoyed having two bathrooms (his and hers) and the bidet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet. Lots of cooking gear for basics. I would recommend staying here. If uncertain on the length of stay, try to stay way longer than 2 nights as there is LOTS to do in the area!

Breathtaking Oceanfront Home on Lava Rock Beach.

Beautiful home, the waves put me to sleep every night as well is the comfortable mattress. Kids enjoyed playing Pac-Man and watching the Nena from the back deck. Coffee and the sunrises were the best. Thanks a lot!
