Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

The romantic mill

If you like the Mountain, far from the trendy resorts and mass tourism, and you prefer to hike or drive on the stages of the Tour de France this is for you. The water mill, an unusual cottage thanks to its glass floor in the living room allows you to observe the water flowing under its vaults and the trout that is carried by the private stream of the torrent that borders the property. With an area of 40m2 on the floor and with its mezzanine it can accommodate up to 4 people.

The barn has a living room with a black kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a loft with two beds, and a sofa bed in the living room. It also has a double shower with a window to admire nature while showering. Fireplace, swimming pool, and river. And an environment with a monumental complex formed by a Romanesque church with a crypt, a modernist cemetery and an Iberian village 5 minutes away. Spectacular! 5 minutes from a rural restaurant and 10 minutes from the town/city.

The Borda de Costuix is located in the middle of the mountain, 4 km from Àreu, and at an altitude of 1723 meters. This shepherd's hut is located in the wild valley of Lesponne, at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and in the international starry sky reserve. It consists of a room with a double bed with a bathroom that is accessed from the room and a loft that overlooks the living room with two small beds. The house is in a quiet and small town of 45 inhabitants in the Pyrenees and in which there are no services or shops. Jaca, which is the closest city, is 20 minutes away by car.
