Claire has been nothing short of amazing! Great at communicating and giving tips. The place is amazing. The rooms are massive, beautifully decorated and clean. We were 5 adults and easily fit here. Definitely recommend!

The Hoot

Absolutely amazing stay, just what I needed for a summer solstice reset retreat. I appreciated all the extras like games and crafts and lots of books and meditation and affirmation cards. The outside bath was just perfect so soak up nature. Lots of products supplied and well stocked kitchen. Thank you!

Shepherd's Hut retreat to nature

LesleyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Claire is a fabulous host with great communication. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble . Claire took us to the site and explained all that was needed . The site is amazing so quiet and peaceful just what was needed, was lovely to sit and watch the animals. Accommodation is amazing the 3 huts are decorated in a very calming relaxing atmosphere. We loved the fire pit, watched the sun go down and sat beneath the starlight sky . Definitely recommend.

Charming Coach House Retreat Near Sherborne Abbey

LucyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really enjoyed staying at this property that our 3 year old son affectionately called ‘the chimney house’. The communication from Veronica was great and instructions were clear. The property was spotlessly clean and as described (a great shower!). It felt very private, not overlooked and hardly any passing cars, just sounds of the occasional cow and views of sheep. It was a perfect base for lots of national trust places to visit such as Montacute house, and a must-see is Stourhead, about 25 minutes away. And for the kids, Longleat is only 40 mins away. Sherborne is 10 minutes down the road with a handy Sainsburys and a selection of nice pubs and cafes. The price per night was reasonable, and definitely the most competitive compared to other properties within the Dorset/Somerset region. Would absolutely recommend this place and would definitely stay again (so long as your prices don’t increase 😁) Thank you for having us.

Brock Barn

My friend and I stayed here as part of her 50th birthday celebrations and Brock Barn did not disappoint. Absolutely immaculate inside, everything done to a very high standard and just such a wonderfully peaceful place to be. We planned on doing very little over the weekend and we did just that! Thanks, Jenny for a fabulous stay.

Versatile country house

A very comfortable and spacious home from home with a friendly and helpful host (Caroline). Not a typical ‘holiday let’ as this is a real family home and you can tell how loved it is as soon as you step foot into the beautiful front garden. When we first saw the railway line next to the house we were worried about noise. But we need not have as within a couple of hours you barely notice it (and I am usually very noise adverse!). Caroline was super helpful and responsive and was flexible with check in and check out times, which is rare these days. Well equipped kitchen, soft towels, comfy beds and perfect large dining table and outdoor furniture. My elderly father loved sitting by the pond, watching the fish and listening to the birds. Peaceful and close to some great National Trust places and Sherborne / Frome / Bruton / Longleat all very nearby.

Had a lovely stay and a warm welcome and invitation to enjoy the sunny, peaceful garden. The annex was amazing. Modern, fully-equipped kitchen for cooking and a large, sunny lounge with patio doors and a large TV for lazy evenings. 👌 Thank you, Andrew for a fab stay!

Idilic 2br Modern Cottage in Peaceful Village

TomRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Pip’s cottage is a peaceful place to stay in the heart of the Somerset countryside. It is set in a beautiful orchard and is a very short walk away from a great pub with a kid friendly beer garden. Our hosts were super friendly and responsive and were great with our kids, who loved playing on the slide, swings and hammock in the garden. They gave us some amazing recommendations of things to do nearby including the Newt gardens and Bath&West country show. Nearby Bruton is always a must see as is the Hauser and Wirth gallery there. Would highly recommend for any family with young children or for anyone wanting to escape for a lovely weekend in the countryside
