A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.

This is the absolute best setting/location. It is part of a larger private property within a VERY short walk to Castelo dos mouros from which you can easily walk to palacio Nacional. Also a quick walk down the hill to amazing food and shops. My only complaint was the hot water was not enough to fill both tubs the morning of our departure, but I enjoyed a cold plunge with a view! Thanks for the hospitality Franco!

A beautiful place in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood away from the hustle of Lisbon. We were greeted with a great Portuguese welcome on the first day. The home is only a 5 minute walk to a large grocery store and a 7 minute drive to Belém tower, Jeronimos Monastery, and Pasteis do Belém. Not too far from the city either; about a 20 minute drive. The home was very worth the price and everything we asked for. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The backyard was a great addition for those early morning breakfasts/late night family dinners. The host was very responsive to our concerns. We hope to book this place again if we ever get the chance to visit Lisbon in the future.

We were extremely well received, although the bathroom was shared, only my husband and I used it, which was of great value. our room had a huge balcony, which meant that our room did not get hot. Our stay was peaceful, Mrs. Arminda is very friendly and helpful.

We highly recommend Ana Paula’s magnificent condo! It’s in Algès, a 14 min walk to the train station, electric trains and bus station. Very comfortable beds, 2 full bathrooms including a bidet… what a luxury and another small bathroom. Huge kitchen with all amenities. Large dining and living room. Balconies all around the condo which is on the 4th floor with spectacular views. Close to a Continente Supermarket at a 5 min walk. Quiet and safe area! Obrigada!

Eula was a fantastic host—very responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond. The house and room were spotless, and the balcony with a sitting area was a great bonus. Just note the stairs could be tricky with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Otherwise, the location is super convenient—close to the subway, shops, and restaurants.
