Sweet Lil Blue is a modest, cute and cozy partially above ground basement apartment. The house is over 100 years old so expect character creaks and cracks! It offers clean linens, towels and toiletries as well as coffee and tea and basics for your stay. The ceilings are only about 7ft high so that’s a fair warning for tall people! Located on the ‘cusp’ of the East end and Downtown, it’s on a bus route and is walking distance to all major amenities, walking trails and only 9 min from the airport.

I bought this house for its excellent location. Churchill square is literally adjacent in my backyard with plenty of parks, walking trails, grocery stores, MUN, hospitals, restaurants, coffee shops and downtown all within walking distance. The property is on a quiet street in the middle of a busy area. The area is locally known as the 'golden triangle'. We had a lovely stay in St. John’s, with easy access to public transport and a variety of shops nearby. The apartment is tastefully furnished, featuring a beautiful Atlantic Ocean theme that runs throughout the space. Easy to find, this Airbnb wowed us upon entry. It matches its description as a luxurious boutique hotel! A huge room, you have lots of space overall. The closet itself is big, being a walk in. The bathroom is also large; with a bidet, a heated towel rack, and more, guests are spoiled! One note is that the windows face the street and with it, the Alt Hotel. However, there are both curtains and blinds allowing for privacy. We didn't use the common kitchen area so cannot comment on that. You only hear noise when others are in the hallway. Otherwise, we didn't hear our neighbours nor the restaurant downstairs (but also, we were on the third floor). This was a lovely place to stay, and we would return here if back in St. Johns!

Mohammad’s place was very comfortable and well furnished! I wasn’t expect to find another hidden gem on the iceberg pursuit trip until I stayed at Mohammad’s place! The host is very friendly and thoughtful, gave me lots of great recommendations. Would definitely recommend staying here for your trip, and I would stay here again if I come back!

Very good option while in St John's. This airbnb is located in a middle class neighbourhood, really close to downtown (10-minute walk to the closes attractions). The host does his 110% to make a pleasant stay. A good breakfast and a place to park are included.
