Diego was truly warm and his staff was so gracious. The countryside where the house is located is magical. The house felt like it was a loving family home. We enjoyed every minute. The breakfast beyond yummy and plentiful. Diego helped us arrange transportation. We appreciated that cocora valley was nearby (30 min car ride) on a busy Easter weekend. The highlight was the private horseback ride for 10 of my family members including 8 yr old son who had his own cowboy to help lead him. The views …amazing!! So nice to be on a private mtn side away from the crowds, cars, and noise of the other horseback riding businesses. We could arrange our meals easily with his friendly staff. My son enjoyed being able to walk and play on his long driveway and made friends with the house dogs. We had a houseful of 15 family members and super comfortable! We wish we could go back sooner💕

We had a fantastic stay at Finca Villa Luz! The finca is beautifully situated in the middle of the coffee-growing region, surrounded by lush coffee plantations and vibrant orange and mango trees. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The farm is also very conveniently located, just a 2-minute drive from Parque del Café, which made it even more enjoyable. Jose Maria was incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. We can’t wait to return!

Together with my family, we enjoyed a few days of good rest, pleasant, the place is beautiful, highly recommended.

I was on the property with several friends and the truth is the place is 10/10, the whole place was super clean and tidy, the spaces very spacious and very cozy. I recommend the place and its surroundings 100%.

We had a very pleasant time as a family, the place was very central, safe and the hosts were very attentive and aware of everything.

The family and I were celebrating my mom's birthday. It was a very special stay, full of blessings. Mrs. Ana María was always kind, attentive to every detail, extremely helpful and organized. She helped us decorate a space with flowers from the same Hacienda, she had a cake for my mom's birthday... and also good coffee and empanadas... it couldn't have been better. The time we were at the hacienda, the plants always bloomed... it was beautiful... we knew from the first moment that God's presence was at the Hacienda... Mrs. Luisa was very attentive and was a great help with breakfast and the foreman was very attentive... the parks were centrally located in the area, although it took us a little time to get there, but time goes by quickly with the family. I highly recommend them... a good place to rest, enjoy and have fun and ideal for children... we hope to return...

The site is very cute, quiet, and relaxing. The accommodation is very well equipped, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

We stayed with them for just over two weeks. They welcomed us with a basket of various fruits from the region that are produced on the farm and all the time they offered us fruits that the farm produced. Don Oscar was very kind and helpful in giving directions for arrival and recommendations for the place. The family in charge of the farm was very helpful. It is a place to be able to go with babies and children, there is space to play and rest. There were no mosquitoes or bugs, and that's a plus. It's an ideal place for birdwatching in the region. 100% recommended for relaxing with the family.

It is a very comfortable place, surrounded by nature, the facilities are very clean and have the amenities to spend a great time as a family. Juan's prompt response and great kindness were excellent to get there, and to enjoy several experiences on the property.

It is an excellent place to share, rest and relax. Nice house, the impeccable rooms, everything in good condition, the kitchen is very well equipped, the service of the homemakers (Nelly and Jhon) is excellent and the friendliness and agility the responses of the host Cristian. It was a great family experience

We loved our stay here. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive and made us feel right at home. The house had everything we needed and the new landscaping was beautiful. The view from the back is quite stunning, and the walk through the neighborhood is beautiful. It's about a 15 minute jeep ride from Filandia, but it was very easy to organize the rides to and from everywhere. We highly recommend it!!

If you are looking for a charming and quiet accommodation with a stunning view by a warm and welcoming family, you are at the right place. More than just an accommodation, I had an unforgettable experience with Diego's family :) The room is tidy with all you need and Kimberly will prepare delicious meals for you :) Diego and his family are very friendly and make you feel like home. They will also share many recommendations with you and are always ready to show you the surrounding areas. You have amazing walks to do to La Virginia, waterfalls, or Peñas Blancas among others. Beautiful farm, perfect getaway from civilization. I wish had more time to enjoy at Pauline's place. Everything about it lived up to the expectations set forth in the descriptions and photos. On top of that, as an avid birder, I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I was to be be exposed to such a diversity of species. The freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended!

It is a wonderful place, an unsurpassed view of total connection with nature, spaces to share and rest, we felt very comfortable, they met all our needs, Doña Blanquita always treated us as family... without a doubt it is a great place to stay with the family.

Imagine the best possible AirBnB experience and then make it better - that's what staying at Gina and Alex's home is like. My wife and I stayed at their place along with three friends on the weekend leading up to a race we were running in the area. The goal of the weekend, besides the race, was to get in as much running as possible, as we were all training for longer races in the coming months. Upon arrival, to Cajamarca, Gina's husband Alex met us in town, guided us to the grocery store, and then led us to their home. When we arrived to the house we were happy! The property is gorgeous and tucked into a vibrant forest. We knew we chose the right place. Gina greeted us warmly and showed us the home and we chose our rooms (all are beautiful!) After getting settled, we talked to Gina and Alex about our goal to get in a lot of running. We said we even wanted to get in a short run that very evening. They did not just accommodate us by offering tips on nearby trails (which would have been great), but went above and beyond! Alex actually led us on his motorcycle the evening that we arrived. The next morning, he hiked and ran with us through the area countryside. He led us to a small, family dairy farm where, in the middle of our run, we milked cows. Then, later, we went to an avocado farm! The entire 4 hour excursion was made into a memory for life by Alex's eagerness to share his knowledge of the land with us and introduce us to new things, places and people. If that had been it, it would have been a 5 star experience, but everything really was beyond amazing and I've never been anywhere or met people so accommodating to others' schedules. From the meal around the fire the night we arrived, to the late breakfast the following day (ready for us when we arrived from our 4 hour outing with Alex), to the comfortable rooms and beds with beautiful views and property. It was ALL perfect. But then, the bonus: On-site massages! They have a dedicated room for massage and Gina is a talented masseuse! For a bunch of runners, this was a gift! My wife and I each had two massages during our stay and they were well worth it! Other small things: All the food they cooked was local and much of it organic. The food was very delicious and thoughtfully and lovingly prepared. They serve local, organic coffee that is on par with some of the best local coffees I've had. And, just to top it off, Gina and Alex and their daughter (who also worked to make our experience a 5*+ one) gifted us with very thoughtful parting gifts for being their first guests. If you find yourself traveling to Cajamarca don't look any farther than this sanctuary in the forest....

Great room, very clean. Yannick was super friendly, he gave us good recommendations for activities to do in the area and he even took the steps for us. The location is super good and very quiet. Breakfast was really good and complete. We would recommend this place without hesitation! Thanks again Yannick for hosting us!

The place is nice, quiet and relaxing, and with the murmur of the river nearby at breakfast time it is relaxing. My family really enjoyed the animals and dogs that Yannik's has, as well as his calm way of relating with each of us.

Alejandra and Hector farm has much to offer--beautiful scenery, waterfalls, hiking, etc. however, the reason you must stay here is to meet hector Alejandra father, he is a SUPER NICE PERSON and her family, He's a fantastic host and truly made our time in Salento very fun and memorable. We had the most wonderful stay at Yudy’s place. Yudy is a fabulous host and helped us plan the whole weekend. She picked me up from the airport and arranged for a coffee farm tour and a horseback riding tour. Each morning Yudy prepared a delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients from their farm. The property is so beautiful and so peaceful, it was even better than the pictures. It is truly paradise - I didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be back to visit Yudy and her lovely farm.

In this house we felt very good, we were able to rest a lot, in the middle of nature. In itself, the house is the typical of the coffee zone to live the experience and at the same time it is very clean, well cared for and renovated while maintaining the essence. Very well, very well. The location is ideal, it is located inside the Cocora Valley, with a Jeep you can go quickly to see the palms and it is also 5-10 min from the village of Salento. They always helped us ask for Jeep's to get around that they were coming at the moment. We woke up to the sound of the cows and birds and the kitchen staff helped and cooked us every day, also with the washing machines as we were going with kids. We don't have a complaint but quite the opposite. María Camila attended us by chat in the previous days with all our doubts and on the day of entry she welcomed us and explained the whole operation clearly. theme transportation too and recommended the tour of the Cocora Valley. My family and I appreciate the hospitality provided, we honestly felt right at home. The estate is a beautiful place, the birds sing day and night, there are a great variety of birds, it is cozy, the climate is delicious, the structure is typical of the region, very clean, delicious beds, very comfortable rooms, comfortable with great accommodation capacity, attractive for all ages, the wet areas have good maintenance, are spacious, very clean with all the functional elements, it has fruit trees, cafes, flowers and beautiful trees; the location allows the visitor to strategically enjoy all the activities offered by the region, the landscape is unique and the unforgettable sunsets. A thousand thanks to the hosts for making the family vacation a delight, the recommendations of restaurants and tourist sites are very accurate. 10/10 rating, we hope to return soon.
