Welcome to Sammalkallio's attic! Here you will stay in a spacious studio upstairs in the garage, with views of the forest and fields. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchenette, as well as a bathroom and a dining area. You'll sleep well in a high-quality double bed. In winter, the wood-fired stove provides warmth and atmosphere, and in summer, the air heat pump provides coolness. You can also rent two sup boards from us for 30 euros/day/board. Possibility to accommodate 1-2 people on an extra mattress.

Seafarers and hatmakers have since 1880s enjoyed life on the property where an old stable and cabin were transformed into modern living in the 70s. The House has its own entrance, two sunny corners for relaxing in the garden, a colourful bedroom overlooking the garden to two directions, a separate toilet, a fully-equipped kitchenette and a wood-heated sauna with a large shower room. In summer, you can go swim in the sea from the pretty little beach around the corner. All you need in life is here. <3

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.
