Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Rabun County

This property is beautiful and the house is great! Lots of room to spread out. There is no lake access from the property, but there is a free public beach about 10 minutes away, small but not crowded. Our family had a restful time with games, movies, cooking, the beach, and shopping in Clayton, about 20 minutes away. When you get to the turn off of Burton Dam Road, gps says “turn onto Cherokee Ridge Drive” but it’s the driveway to the house. The house number is on Burton Dam Road. My mom and I flew in from California to meet long lost family for the first time!! We stayed a total of 8 nights. Comfortable, beautiful, and I appreciate the detailed instructions John provided for check in/check out/ hot tub etc. It definitely is helpful! During our stay we had a few critters visit the trash; a racoon and bear! So it is definitely recommended to visit the recycling center (as John does mention!) The cabin is inviting and cozy, well lit, plenty of space for everyone, and we were able to find everything we needed! The game closet for our rainy day, washer and dryer to use for the days we went to the lake, to the beautiful large dining room table we were able to eat together as a family at - and the comfortable bedrooms - this cabin has it all exceeded all of our exceptions and then some- and let me tell you those views from the patio/porch- I will never forget! Thank you so much!

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—the home had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature’s beauty. The house was well-equipped and thoughtfully set up for families, offering plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Whether relaxing on the porch, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying the cozy spaces inside, there was always something to do.

Beautiful and comfortable cabin! Everything was well maintained, clean, and modern. Quick walk or drive to downtown Clayton which is ADORABLE - tons of cute shops and restaurants. The swim spa is awesome and the property is lovely. Located across the street from a church that plays bells on the hour which was a sweet, small-town touch. Giant shower in the main bathroom was fabulous and parking was a breeze. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Great place, plenty of room for all 3 generations of our family! Views and location were excellent. Fire pit, hot tub and blackstone grill were the icing on the cake!

Christopher's place was beautiful, immaculate and incredibly peaceful. Every square inch of space is intentionally designed which simply adds to the gracefulness of the place. The fire-fueled hot tub is one of a kind and transports you back to a more rustic time and I used it all week. Perhaps the best part of all was falling asleep each night to the sound of the creek. Highly recommend.

A fun family spot!

My family enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at Craig's Encore at the end of Lake Nantahala. We have stayed in many places, and this home was truly exceptional with every detail considered. We enjoyed watching Lake Nantahala change throughout the day, paddled in the kayaks, swam, soaked in the hot tub, relaxed and had fun outings renting a boat one day and tubing down the Nantahala River the next. It was truly memorable, and the only drawback was the long drive in over gravel, but that's what makes it so peaceful and remote. The lake was never busy and such a big change from so many crowded and touristed spots. We hope we made a good impression and will be welcomed back. This is truly a loved and cherished family home, and we appreciate Craig sharing it with us.

Beautiful home. We stay in Clayton every year for a family reunion and this has been one of the best places we have stayed in yet. I loved the yard, it’s hard to find a place in the mountains where my kids can play outside. We loved exploring the creek and the path. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and the home was really clean and easy to make home for our weekend getaway. The host was very kind, responsive and sent us very clear instructions on everything we needed to know. Thank you again for everything, we will be back again I’m sure.

This is the best location for all the fun things to do in Northern GA! You can literally turn left or right and be within minutes of National Parks or scenic trails! We loved the peace and quiet of the cabin, and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day of walking/hiking 10,000 steps! It’s centrally located between Helen and Tallulah Falls, which was perfect for us! The creek was beautiful and the screened dining/porch area was cool and quiet for evening meals. We enjoyed the board games and the privacy of each level. Three bathrooms is a huge plus as well! We will definitely return on our next visit. Hosts were wonderful and responded promptly if we had any questions.

We stayed here for our friends wedding and it was amazing!! The space was perfect for the 9 of us and we had plenty of space in the house. Getting up to the house is a little scary if you’re afraid of heights and I feel like some cars wouldn’t be able to make it up the mountain but we didn’t have any issues with it!

Very clean cabin, and very friendly hosts.

We had such a great weekend at the Pickleball Retreat! The cabin was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly well stocked... from kitchen supplies to extras like towels, games, and even a s’mores bar. The amenities were awesome. We loved the pickleball court, hot tub, arcade games, and firepit. There was so much to do that we honestly wished we had one more day to enjoy it all! The kids had a blast in the creek, which ended up being an unexpected highlight. It’s a great spot for a large family getaway! Plenty of space, lots to do, and peaceful surroundings. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back!

The Secret Box Cabin was a relaxing, peaceful getaway while also being conveniently located to many restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The hosts were wonderful. A storm passed over while we were there that caused a brief power outage. The hosts proactively communicated the whole time and had battery operated lights on hand for us to use. Amazing experience- can’t wait to return!

This was the perfect place for our family of 10 to stay! Plenty of room for everyone and we could spread out in the numerous sitting rooms. There were several outdoor seating areas as well--all with spectacular views! The firepit and hot tub made our outdoor time even better. The kitchen was HUGE and well stocked. Backing up to national forest made for a super private setting and you could find hiking trails right out the back door! Lots of detailed information about the area in the very detailed guest guide. We were in the area for a wedding at a winery in Scaly Mountain and this was an easy commute to the venue. Overall I would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Brian’s cabin. Getting there was very tricky because of road signs being overgrown, hard to see, and one had fallen into a ditch. The roads are narrow and winding with little room for turning around if you make a wrong turn so better directions and clear road markings would have helped. But once we found it we enjoyed the beautiful views. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. We had some issues but Brian was very quick to respond to messages and was a great help getting things resolved.
