Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Rainy Lake

My daughter and I enjoyed staying at Jason’s house in Kenora while visiting family. The place was very clean and comfortable. It is walking distance to downtown Kenora and the Harbourfront. Jason was very helpful and friendly throughout our visit. We felt right at home. We will be back!

My husband, my 3 boys, and I stayed at the Birch House for a week. My husband and 2 oldest boys fished in Ely for the week. It wasn’t too far from their fishing location. The baby and I stayed and relaxed in the house all week! It was supper comfy and the baby loved bathing in the walk in shower. He had plenty of room to roam and do what baby’s do. The house was squeaky clean when we got there and the host were supper friendly and easy to communicate with! 10/10! Would recommend and would stay there again!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful log cabin. Everything was neat and spotless. The location is quiet and peaceful. Our only wish is that there is a cleared path to the riverbank.

We loved our stay at Mary Ann’s place! Our family of 5 fit very comfortably and there was room for even more. We were amazed at the cleanliness of it we felt right at home instantly. The hosts went above and beyond to care for their guests with many little details to make our stay great. The best part was how pet friendly it was. There was even a leash out back so my dog could be tied up to go outside which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again!

Your home was an excellent place for our family to gather in between wedding preparations and after. Loved our time on the deck and the peaceful surroundings. Very relaxing and quiet. Thank you!

This place was perfect for what we needed. Austin was very responsive and thoughtful before and during our stay. The house is very private with a beautiful yard. Could not recommend more!

Great little place with a touch of class. The bed was comfortable the water was hot, and everything was tastefully decorated. This place has everything you need and nothing you don't. The kitchen was very nicely appointed and had everything you might need to cook a meal, and grill outside. Thanks for a nice stay!!

Not reflecting on the owners of the unit but the door leading to the deck was below our room. The door thudded loudly when it was open and closed.

Debbie's place was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It's a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops, and close to the Bear and Wolf centers and close to hiking trails. We would highly recommend!

The condo was well stocked with items necessary for a rental. It is convenient to many areas of interest and it provides a lot of amenities. Pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and areas outdoors for sitting or exploring. Owner was very quick to respond to messages. Great place with plenty of sleeping areas. Owner also provided ideas for dining and for things to do. Highly recommend!

Clean and exactly as advertised! Well-equipped kitchen which was very handy. Only stayed one night, but it was a great place to crash for a small group of people headed to the Sax Zim Bog!

We had a great time in Bovey! We got to canoe a few times and swim in the lake. We had a pretty severe storm overnight and the host checked in on us in the morning to make sure we were doing alright. About 25 min away there’s several restaurants in Grand Rapids. The Airbnb was exactly as described and has great amenities. Comfy bed and futon. The grill and sauna were also great! We would love to stay again here for a relaxing weekend of summer activities!

The stay and experience was cozy. The location of the room and resort provides you with a nice view, and just enough room for my partner and I to relax and unwind. The tv has all of the streaming services that you could need and want— you just have to sign in yourself. I will say that the building has a very strong smell of chlorine when you walk in, but it doesn’t seep into the room. The room was a bit muggy when we walked in due to the extreme change in weather and humidity. Shane and Nicole were very kind in trusting us to remove the a/c unit cover so that we could enjoy a/c during our stay. Given that the unit is on the first floor of the resort, you do hear footsteps above you, so if you’re a light sleeper, that may be something you want to plan for. Overall, it was a nice stay and just what we needed for our short getaway.

I'm not one for words but it was absolutely spectacular plenty of room for a family of five super quiet and absolutely gorgeous scenery. Will definitely book again as soon as I can.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. We enjoyed the steps that go down to the rocks by the lake. Very dog friendly condo. Fire pit in the backyard overlooking the lake was a hit.

Christine’s place was the tranquility that we were looking for! The unit is located at the end of the building which made it so very easy to unload! You could sit inside and enjoy the views of the water or you had the choice of sitting outside at a high top table or relax adirondack chairs! It was a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a book! The inside was so comfortable and cozy! We didn’t use the fireplace but on a cold fall or winter night it would have been amazing! The kitchen is stalked with a great cookware set and knives that we took good advantage of! There is also a well stocked spice rack & seasoning drawer. Being right on the water was a huge perk and the ability to walk down the stairs to the rocks was incredible. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit! The 3 nights went so quickly and we were not ready to come home. Thank you again Christine!

We felt so welcome and at home for our week stay. Beautiful views and the pool/hot tub/sauna/game room is always great for our family! We had an amazing time and will be back!

This was a great place for our family, right on the lake. We were close to lots of parks and hiking trails. Quick drive to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space and the indoor pool was a great spot for our kids.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing get-a-way without the kids :) This place was exactly what we were looking for. The space was welcoming and comfortable. Steps away from an outdoor pool, indoor pool, indoor hot tub, restaurant and everything at Lutsen Resort. The key fob for the pool didn't work but Joanne responded RIGHT away and was able to solve our problem within minutes. We decided last minute not to bring our fur child and she refunded us the pet fee right away. Overall, very satisfied and have talked about going back with the whole family!
