Wine Farm Cottage

The cottage offers guests an unique opportunity to stay on a rustic working wine farm. It forms part of the farmstead of a historic wine farm, but has its own little garden with a view over vineyards. It is located on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, which makes it the ideal place to reside when exploring the many surrounding wineries and restaurants. The road may be a bit noisy, but most guests hear birds more often than they hear cars. The cottage was built in the 1980’s.

Penny’s house is truly magnificent. Set in a vineyard with fantastic vistas towards the mountains and False Bay. The house was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We also made use of the cottage attached to the main house, which was very convenient. There is plenty to do in the broader surrounds, so well worth a stay. We will certainly stay again.

A Wonderful Stay at Bellevue Cottage – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Bellevue Cottage in Cape Town was absolutely lovely. The accommodation was clean, neat, and exceeded all our expectations. It’s safe, beautifully maintained, and comes with all the bells and whistles you could ask for. The location is perfect – set on the peaceful side of Cape Town, offering a quiet and tranquil atmosphere. We especially loved the presence of the friendly dogs and graceful horses, which added to the charm of the place. Sharon was an amazing host – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Her attention to detail and care made our stay extra special. We will definitely be booking here again the next time we’re in Cape Town. A great place with a beautiful setting, and really spacious! Kids loved the rooms as well. The shops were local, view of the sea and mountains fantastic. Really enjoyed the stay and thanks for the flexibility needed in our stay.

we had a fabukous 4 day stay at the cottage which was cosy and light and so so comfortable. Daphne was a great hist. highly recommend and would come again!!
