Great place to stay! Check-in was easy with clear instructions. The place was in a peaceful location but close to a lot of nearby attractions. The host made delicious waffles and was very helpful and had some great stories. Would highly recommend!

Loved waking up to horses outside of our room. Waffle breakfast that the host made for us was 10 out of 10!! Felt like we were in a restaurant, the table was all laid out with lots of options, good company, and conversation with the host and other guests; and to top it off we got to feed horses waffles out of the kitchen window. Definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was just perfect. Very nice room and bathroom and we had also opportunity to use laundry what we really appreciated because all our stuff was completely wet (raining whole day). Inga and her husband were so nice and helpful and also gave us some tips what to visit. Breakfast was very good. Thank you so much!

We were welcomed by Andrés' son Christian. He helped us bring our luggage to our rooms. He showed us the amenities, the kitchen, and some nice surrounding spots to visit. He also talked a bit about the history of the farm and the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. We were even allowed to use the microwave in the family's home to heat up our dinner. It was very thoughtful of Christian to remind us again of the approaching sunset with all its colors (even greenish), which is also his inspiration for his art. All in all a nice experience.

Valborg was very friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse was very charming, cosy and well equipped. We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The scenery that forms the backdrop of the guesthouse is breathtaking, and there's some lambs, horses and wild birds to make you feel even more close to nature.

We loved our stay at Andres farm. He was really attentive and explained a lot to us about the history of the farm and the surroundings. We did not book the breakfast, but were able use to us the kitchen. Seljalandsfoss is 8 minutes away. And we saw the Northern lights from his premises 😊.

Lovely hotel—we stayed for two nights. Check-in instructions were very clear, and the staff was super responsive with communication. When the restaurant was closed, they allowed us to bring our own food in, which was really convenient. The location is stunning, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this stay enough. You truly feel welcome and at home at the farmhouse. Breakfast is great and the host family is always happy to provide recommendations for anything; they gave us the spots where we ended up buying our woolen sweaters. Additionally, they have fresh cows milk every morning with breakfast. The space is clean, homey, and well kept.

Þórarinn was proactive and responsive with communications. Sent very helpful directions, instructions and recommendations for places to eat. His place is very close to Skogafoss waterfall and a short drive to Vik. He provides a continental breakfast which in our experience is unusual for Airbnbs
