Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rarotonga

Thank You for letting us still stay, even when you were away and can say that this was the best. Love the morning wakeup calls, even at 5 in the morning from the roosters in the area lol and would listen to this rather than the traffic along the main road.

Accomodation had everything we needed, and what made it more enjoyable and pleasant was the host. We travelled in a group of 6 and had a full house. House is close to town within walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great place with a great view on the mountains! Muri lagoon south end was a 15min walk arriving at a nice, quiet cafe right at the beach. Our favorite spot Titikaveka (not even needed to bring a snorkel as you can just wade in and see amazing fish) was close (bus or car). That week in February was very hot and humid and we were cautious with mosquitos, so we closed doors ost of the time which made it a few times warm inside. Other than that the ventilation is great given the construction of the cabin and windows covered with mosquito nets. Amenities of the cabin are great, the bist is amazing! We had a superb week on Rarotonga!

Loved staying here. Would stay here again. Host was super responsive and helpful. The property is super close to the shop, restaurants, car/scooter hire and to lagoon.

Having visited the island more than 20 times over the years, we can honestly say your property has been one of our absolute favourites. The home is incredibly spacious, immaculately clean and tidy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the pool area – the covered spaces on both sides of the living area made it easy to enjoy the outdoors at any time of day, rain or shine. Vai, thank you for the outstanding job keeping everything in such pristine condition – it really made a difference and did not go unnoticed. For future guests, we’d highly recommend Vianna’s for a casual bar experience, Nautilus for finer dining and delicious small plates, and the Bond Store for the best value alcohol outside of duty free. If the weather plays along, a jet ski tour with TVK watersports is also an exciting way to experience the island from a different perspective.

Wow! As a family of 5 with 3 late teen / adult age children this house was just perfect. The bedrooms with separate ensuites were luxurious and spacious and the communal areas were perfect for gathering together as well as having break out space. The views from all rooms and the decks exceeded our expectations. The location was walking distance from multiple restaurants, cafes, and the night markets. The beach was pristine and incredibly accessible for walks and snorkeling right out the front. Location was A+. Our hosts Michael and Jo were friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back, and we would choose this home again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at Honey Rose Retreat. Everything was well catered for and well done. We found this place to be very calm and peaceful. A nice place to come home to after a day snorkeling and enjoy the pool. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept extremely well during our stay 🙏❤️. Fiona was very helpful and proactive with any query we had and we were appreciative of that. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Rarotonga ❤️

Place is a little more dated than photos but has everything you need. Place was clean and it was nice having air con in the bedrooms. Plunge pool was lovely for a quick morning or afternoon dip!

Beautiful spacious accommodation with everything you would need! Straight onto the beach! Walking distance to restaurants. And fabulous host. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Fantastic!! What more can we say..just a great quiet loacation and everything exceeded our expectations. Perfect spot to relax and reconnect with mother nature. Walking out the front door and being greeted by an amazing view of the lagoon would be one of our highlights. The accomadation was a nice size with modern appliances to cook meals if you desire along with a water filter. Eateries and a store 2 minutes walk. Both Sarah and Adam are wonderful down to earth hosts We would definately recommend ..

Me and Ricky could I’ve never asked for a better host Jules and Kt treated us like family , had a bbq with us and the other guests and almost planned an impromptu wedding! Now don’t get me started on the accommodation, and tours they do around the island, this Airbnb was so homely, and close enough to everything weather your walking or get a scooter. We will definitely be back in a couple of years! Or maybe sooner 👀 Couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you for having us❤️ See you guys soon!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hosts Jean Mark & Mere were wonderful , always there to answer any questions. The accommodation has good facilities, especially the use of a washing machine. There is an undercover area for hanging out clothes which is very useful. The accommodation is in a good location, close to shops & snorkelling. We hired a car in walking distance from the accommodation at quite reasonable rates. We then could explore all the island & not worry if it rained. It helped us to get to tours on time. Our progressive dinner tour did provide transport & is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Carlos' unit-we stayed in the 2 bedroom downstairs.Set on a lush property, with massive garden at the front, large living areas (2 living areas inside) and a front patio and back patio! My 2 kids (9 and 6yrs) played endless games around the property and thoroughly enjoyed the space. We also enjoyed coffees on the front balcony surrounded by trees, birds and ever present chickens and roosters! It was quiet but well placed in the west of the island right next door to Edgewater resort where there are meal options and acitivities we could join. The walk to the beach/lagoon is only few mins, but reef shoes are a must - Carlos has kindly provided these along with snorkels etc.There were countless thoughtful touches, such as DVD's, board games, library of books, CD/AV/USB/phone connections (connectivity was not a problem!) Carlos also respected our privacy but was always around (and welcome) for a friendly chat - he knows his island home extensively.Hope to be back!

Sue was a phenomenal host who went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay. Beautiful views of the beach and the sunrise can be enjoyed in the communal space. Highly recommend this place!

The description and photos don’t do this listing justice. The view and convenience to Muri with still being private and quiet was unbeatable. Beautiful brand new unit. Huge bathroom, lovely pool, top notch host and experience.

The place honestly looks better than the photos! It’s so private and easy to get to, in a decently good location. not too far from the airport and not too far from Town! The house is clean with great airflow, the view from the lounge room and bedroom is absolutely stunning! this place makes you feel like you’re at home. I loved staying here and i’m so excited to stay again!!
