Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Detached from the main house, this is a sleepout/studio. Guests love the quiet and secure neighbourhood location. Local shopping centre with supermarket, chemist and library are 10mins walk/5mins drive from the house. We are a 5mins drive from NP airport/10mins drive to New Plymouth CBD and approx 30mins drive to Mt Taranaki. Walking distance to Bell Block Beach and the scenic Coastal Walkway from Bell Block to NP in an hour. Great for a weekend/short visit to the region.

Cosy self- contained studio close to Mt Taranaki

We are situated close to main routes in Taranaki but in a small town only 15 minutes from New Plymouth. WE PROVIDE CONTINENTAL BFREAKFAST; cereal, bread for toast, spreads, butter, milk and tea & coffee,. You will need to have your own transport when staying with us as public transport is almost non-existent with only 2 buses a day. We have offroad parking. There are a lot of activities available to you including walking tracks, surfing, cycling & beautiful parks to explore.

A little bit of country

Guest room separate to the main house. Its a large studio room with en-suite. We're out in the country on a large lifestyle block, only 5mins from Inglewood which is a great little town, and 20mins from New Plymouth. Its a peaceful spot with a great view of Mt Taranaki from our garden. Our place is shared with 1 friendly dog (outside dog), 2 cats, chickens and cattle on the farm. From Sept - Oct we may have lambs that are being hand fed. :-)

We are two minutes from Lake Mangamahoe Walking track and Mountain Bike park, you can be in New Plymouth in ten minutes and be up North Egmont in 15 minutes. Our beautiful cottage is perfect for a couples or small families. Enjoy an amazing view of Mt Taranaki out of the bedroom windows. We provide towels, face cloths and all bed linen.
