The house is located in Måndalen, 20 min drive from Åndalsnes (direction Ålesund). At Åndalsnes you will find Romsdalseggen, Romsdalsgondolen, Via Ferrata and Norsk Tindesenter center, as well as cafes and restaurants. 30 min drive to Trollstigen. 1 h and 20 min to Ålesund. The house has 6 large bedrooms, Wonderland beds, and plenty of space for 11 people. Living room and fine living room with fireplace. Large kitchen in the style of the 60s. 2 showers and 2 toilets. Wash in all bedrooms. Laundry room/washing machine. Gas grill, outdoor furniture and wood-fired stamp.

Modern apartment by the mountains of Isfjorden

Modern, newly built apartment at the top of Isfjorden, with the ski track right outside the house door. It's ski-in/ski-out. The apartment is a part of a newly built house that was ready in February 2022. From here you can go cross-country skiing or summit trips to the Kyrkjetaket, Skarven, Galtåtind, etc., without having to use a car. The apartment has one bedroom with double bed, living room with a sofa, new modern kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with rainshower. We can put in mattress for a third person, or travel cot for baby if desired.

Hear the birds singing in the forest outside while sitting in the large window drinking your morning coffee and studying the rum valley mountains. The tiny house is centrally located, but unashamedly, on the edge of a forest in the center of Isfjorden. Buckle up outside the door and walk some of Romsdalen's most famous mountains. Or sit on the couch watching Romsdalseggen you left earlier in the day. The tiny house has a small and functionally equipped apartment kitchen (fridge and two hot plates) that you can make yourself simple dishes on.

Saltbulåven- sea fishing, skiing, mountains and experiences.

Here you can relax or be active. Enjoy nature with hikes in the mountains in the surrounding area, both on skis and feet. Head out into the sea with kayaks or boat. Bike on quiet roads. Both boat, kayak and bicycles can be rented for reasonable money. Take a drive to Åndalsnes, Trollstigen, Ålesund or Molde. Come home and enjoy the evening of great food on the grill and cuddle around the fire pit. The hot tub is ready to soften after the day's activity. Overøye in Stordal is a popular area for hiking in the summer, and in winter it offers fantastic cross-country trails and an alpine resort. From the cabin, you can walk straight down to the ski trail. The alpine slope is just a 7-minute walk away. Not far from the cabin, you’ll find popular destinations such as Valldal, Geiranger, and Trollstigen.

Imagine waking up in a fairy tale in the midst of the world heritage, in a small wooden hut, a traditional cabin in Herdalssetra - a charming, living mountain farm.
