Beachfront Guest Suite by the Hill

Our guest suite is located in Kampung Juara on Tioman Island. Situated at the hillside on the northern side of Juara bay - with an amazing view of the whole bay - it's surrounded by pristine rainforest and beautiful nature. Peaceful and private area with a river separating the property from the common beach area. At high tide the river can be crossed with one of our shared kayaks - or just by wading through the water - and during low tide it's easy to walk in and out of the property.

BASED is a three-storey red-bricked structure built entirely from the ground up, situated in the heart of Mersing – a quaint seaside town nestled on the east coast of the State of Johor, right at the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia. It is the gateway* to the many splendid outlying islands most notably, Tioman Island – being voted in the top 25 most beautiful islands in the world. It encompasses with magnificent views of the South China Sea! *BASED is 350m from the Mersing Jetty.

Our Deluxe room is located right in front of the beach. The room is air conditioned, with water heater in the bathroom, in case the water gets a bit too cold. There is free Wifi. There is also a personal hammock right in front of the door, for a chilled and relaxed personal time.
