Bright Urban Studio with Private Courtyard

This is a self contained private room, with your own kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard, in a very handy location, minutes walk to the city, shops, restaurants and transport. You will be in Chippendale, there is plenty of good cafes, funky restaurants, bars and art galleries around, including the world famous White Rabbit Gallery. The house is a 7 minute walk to Redfern Station or 10 minutes to Central train Station, 20-50 min walk to the city, and is very close to Broadway Shopping Centre and Central Park where you can do your shopping. It is only a 20 minute walk to the buzzing Newtown, Surry Hills and Darling Harbour with all of their restaurants and pubs . Also at walking distance is Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), Sydney University (USYD), University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Carriageworks. It is very easy to get to all Sydney's major attractions from here - you are one easy 15 min bus ride or train ride away from the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. It takes minutes to drive to Bondi and many other beaches as well as National Parks. From the airport it is only a 20 minute drive, or a short train ride. This place has everything you need to have a lovely and comfortable stay: - wi-fi Internet; - 39-inch Smart TV, so that you can log into your Netflix, Stan and others apps to watch your favourite movies and videos; - kitchen with all appliances, including fridge, 2 burner cooktop, and a oven/microwave; - a washer/dryer and iron; - queen size bed with super comfy memory foam mattress; - if you would like to sleep separately to your travel partner the sofa bed can be made for a small fee of $25 on request; - portacot, high chair and baby bath are available on request if you are travelling with a little one; - all bed linen and towels are provided. We are looking for someone who will appreciate this place and and take good care of it. Please note: -This studio is a few steps below street level, so you will need to go down a few steps. If you wish to stay for a shorter or longer period of time send me a message and we can work something out. Entire room, with a kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard all for yourself. I give my guests space, but I am always available for questions and can run over should they need anything. Chippendale is a small underground, creative, and funky suburb. It is home to cafes, art galleries, restaurants, bars, parks, and a big sustainable community that keeps verge gardens full of fruit, vegetables, and herbs for all to share. It is super easy to get around by bike, or simply by foot (note it is a 20-50 minute walk into the city depending on where you are going). There are 2 train stations walking distance from the house, Central Station (+or- 11 min walk) or Redfern Station (+or- 7 min walk), There are also buses all around. Street Parking is available, it is paid and time restricted to 1-2 hours during the day. At night it is free and unlimited. There are some free all day parking a short walk away. To get to the house from the Airport the 2 easiest options are: Train - AU$17 per person. It comes every 5 to 10 minutes and it takes about 10-15 minutes into Redfern or Central, then you have to walk for about 10 minutes to the apartment. Taxi - the easiest option and most cost effective if there is more than 1 of you. It costs between $25-$40 and it takes about 20 minutes (allow a little more time to get into and from the International Airport).

I live in the property directly above the apartment, so I may bump into you at some stage. Surry Hills is one of the city's most vibrant suburbs, with many of Sydney's major attractions just a walk away. Cafes, bars, restaurants, and a mini supermarket and liquor store are all within 150 metres. Brons Airbnb stay will definitely stand out as among the best stays we had ..it is a beautifully made up house full of art work. She adds a personal touch to the stay Location is in a very posh locality very near to all the daily needs that we want The bathroom is very clean with a number of accessories to use Above all bron was super accommodative. Very kind hearted and enlightened soul. We both loved our stay and definitely will come again here in the near future.

Loved the area and the apartment was super handy. It was much smaller than it appeared and it’s really more of a Studio than an apartment due to its very small size. Charles could have been more responsive on some issues (hot water failure, asking about an iron)….. 15 hours to responsive just too long. We did not know that there was a laundry and an iron etc available right out the back of the property, maybe we missed that info somewhere but it should be displayed prominently not hidden in a folder. We love the area and it was not noisy at all in the apartment or on the street. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

We spent a great weekend in Jenna’s studio. The location is convenient; close to both the airport and the city centre. It is only a 10 minute walk to Crown Street and its trendy eateries and, if you fancy a longer walk, you can reach the botanical gardens for views of the Opera House and Sydney Bridge. Central station is only a 10 minute walk away and from there you can pretty much reach anywhere in Sydney. The converted garage is cosy and very clean. It also has breakfast bits (like coffee, granola, yogurt, porridge and milk) which were super appreciated. We were there in cold winter days and there is a AC/Heater unit to keep warm. We absolutely had everything we needed, thanks Jenna 😊

Great stay! The property was spotless and really well stocked — even had international power plugs, which was a nice touch. It’s super conveniently located near the light rail, Coles, Harris Farm, and all the restaurants and bars along Crown Street. One thing I really appreciated was being able to hang laundry, which a lot of Airbnbs overlook — but not here. Everything was easy and comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!
