Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Bring your kayaks, or binoculars; Lake Earl awaits you at the end of the road, perfect for birdwatching or spending time outdoors.

Along with our local craftsman, we have created an oasis that will allow you to soak up the Redwoods, listen to the birds and watch the deer graze. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.
