Tiny house holiday rentals in Renfrew County

I stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The cabin and porta potty was clean and kitchen area had most things you may need to cook. Pat was very helpful and brought me a kayak and left me firewood to use (10$ each as described on the listing). I was alone the first night and second night stayed with a very nice couple - as a female travelling alone, I felt very safe as the owner’s home is very close by on the property. Pat checked in everyday to see how I was and if I needed anything. There is a beach within a couple minutes walk from the property and was very clean to swim in. I was able to relax and enjoy the serenity and also explore the area (Bonnechere provincial park and the Killaloe market). First night I heard some wolves (awesome) and second night I did not sleep well since it was raining and very loud - the cabin was still great and bed was very comfy. I will definitely come back, thanks Pat and Gasheida!!!

This is a perfect location to disconnect and get in touch with nature. Beautiful scenery, and an excellent price for this location :) highly recommend.

Always a great place to get away for a quiet stay. Plenty of privacy and space on the property that makes you feel welcome. Rebecca is an incredible host and has been consistent with such great hospitality. Bring a book and sit at the beach and watch the ducks and loons swim by. There's a good 50 feet of sandbar at the water before the lake gets really deep.

Great private cabin, the bbq didn’t light and they came right away and got it working for us. Had to leave unfortunately early due to a pet emergency but we will definitely be back!

Tavia as a great host - greeted us so warmly and so well that we were genuinely impressed by her and her place. This is like a hidden Gem of a place. May not be upto everyone's liking - as you should remember what you signed up for - some alone time in the woods - and the place serves this purpose so well! This was the first of a kind experience for both me and my wife. She was so accommodating our requests and helped us with suggesting some brilliant places and fun activities. Her place is highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend if you have a dog. This was a very private cabin with a beautiful view! The area is massive and perfect to let your dog loose. It offers 30km of hiking trails right from your cabin. This was a great experience!

Thank you, Tasha and Shane, for a magical stay in your little slice of heaven. What a winter wonderland treat... Surrounded by nature - the trees and stars added to the perfect weekend reprieve we were looking for, and received. Hot tub, wood burning stove... couldn't have asked for anything more. Tasha and Shane were such thoughtful and responsive hosts, giving us a plethora of helpful info in regards to all the sights and activities nearby. In the end, we just hunkered down and enjoyed the cozy space they created. Thanks again, Tasha and Shane, for sharing your charming A-frame and peaceful property!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. Two of us and a dog went up to Pakenham for the new year and I can think of a better way to have done it. Unfortunately everything was closed for the week so we didn’t get to experience the brewery, but maybe next time! Everything was great. Clean, beautiful scenery and the creek going by the fire pit was serene. We’ve been to similar bunkies in the past and we actually found this one to be quite spacious. Only things I’d change: We knew going in that there would be no running water for the winter, but a shower would have been ideal - but again clearly mentioned that it would not be available. Using the washroom also wasn’t ideal as the smell could stick around. As long as the door was closed it was fine, however. I will be recommending this place to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time at Barkview Hideaway! The owners are clearly experienced hosts, you can tell as soon as you walk into the chalet. They do a great job anticipating guests' needs. The place is cozy, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need and more. Nestled in the forest, it offers stunning views of the lake. The lake itself is gorgeous. We visited during a peaceful time and barely saw anyone else around. It felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. A unique experience! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Thank you for providing everything we needed for a perfect getaway!

Our stay at the Northwoods Cottage was simply perfect. Rachel and Tim were so generous, ensuring the trail to their fire pit was shovelled and gravelled so we could enjoy it with our guests. They clearly showed care in ensuring we had a great time, and all our needs would be met. The cottage its self is immaculate. The beds are comfortable, the view is amazing, the modern feel with touches of french farmhouse would make anyone feel cozy! They also had amazing recommendations for our nearby needs. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future. I can't say enough good things about Rachel, Tim and our stay. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a beautiful, serene time!

We had a great time! Cabin was just as described and very clean, outhouse was also really well maintained. There was lots of wood for the campfire and their dock had everything you would need for a fun day on the water. Thank you!

This was our second stay at Cheryl's. It's a great place to relax and have a peaceful vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Sophia’s. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed for a weekend getaway, and the outhouse was the nicest we have ever seen. The location was quiet and beautiful, with lots of spots to sit, hang out, and enjoy the nature. The listing was as described, and Sophia provided clear instructions for check in and check out. The cookout was a great addition too and made it easy at meal time. The cabin was walkable to small shops and a diner as well as a beach and boat launch. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this cabin to others too.

Extremely responsive and friendly host - our WiFi dropped off after flickering and they came round the next morning to fix it and gave us some fresh eggs! Loved the space and amenities and would definitely stay again!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! We had a great time at Lisa’s property. The place was very comfortable, clean and peaceful. It was nice to disconnect and enjoy coffee by the river. Communication was excellent at all times. We definitely recommend this cottage, it has everything you need and more!

We had an absolutely lovely time and were so impressed by the space. The bunkies were beautiful, the cabana at the beach was perfect, and everything we would have thought we wanted the hosts had already had thought of. Not to mention the amazing beach front! We ended up driving to the beach so we wouldn’t have to carry our coolers filled with drinks and food, but it was only a couple minute walk otherwise. Also for those interested in vacationing with their dogs - this is an amazing place to bring your puppers! Ours were so tired by the days end that they put themselves to sleep :) Thanks Philip and Abigail for the awesome stay in North Frontenac! Until next time! :)

A beautiful experience in the woods. Just what you need to help reset and enjoy everything nature has to offer. Just remember to turn left before the marker on Maps and there will be a circular sign indicating the lane, if you take the next left you’ll have a 4-wheeler road experience 😆

Loved the cabin, it was neat, tidy, comfortable and had a great view! Everyone was very helpful and I felt right at home.

Chris and David’s place was beautiful and you could tell they take a lot of pride in keeping their home clean. Their home was really centred around their renters needs. Thank you for being great hosts.

Place was clean, and well maintained. Close enough to Algonquin Park. You can see canon lake from the cabin. The cabin was nice inside, great selection of movies. Brandon was very accommodating considering we booked less than 24 hrs before check in. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

We loved our stay at Summer Island! I chose this location because it was a “private island” and we wanted it to be a vacation for our city dog too. She loved being able to wander around and we had no worries. The cottage is so cute and was stocked with all we needed. The beds are really comfortable and the lack of wifi was a bonus to us. Getting to the island was easy peasy and we got great instructions on how to find / access everything. If you need a city respite, this place is magic!
