Peace, well-being in the countryside

The log house has fresh air, you get a good night's sleep. A respite from the hustle and bustle. The location is central: 1 hour drive to Helsinki, 30 min to Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna 40 min. The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. Spacious hand-carved log cabin on the shore of a clear-water lake. A good sandy beach, which is gently deepening and safe for children. There is a private dock. The cottage has electric heating and a fireplace. Firewood is included in the rent. The outdoor toilet is composting. A rowing boat and fishing gear are available. You can pick berries and mushrooms in the nearby forests. Great nature attractions, such as national parks, are a short drive away. Distance from Helsinki, Turku or Tampere about 100 km.

From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport by train to the lake shore? Log cabin on a beautiful detached house plot. Possibility to swim, rent a wood-fired sauna, kayak (2pcs), sup board (2pcs) and rowing boat. The lake and the adjacent rapids area are popular with fishermen. The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7km.

A wonderful villa in the Nuuksio National Park

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

Villa Korte is cozy and modern Villa on the shore of lake Tömäjärvi. Newly renovated with modern needs in mind will keep you satisfied all year long. You will find king size (160cm) beds from both of the two bedrooms and one pull out couch in the living room. Sauna and shower facilities are located at the other end of the villa with direct access to the terraces, jacuzzi and along the wooden path to the pier. Note!
