Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

It accommodates 6 people, in 3 double bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms. It features an indoor fireplace and excellent views of the magical mountains. The outdoor space is perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing in our garden while reading, sipping a drink or taking in the most beautiful sunset.

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro - People's House

Casa do Povo is part of a group of houses inserted in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro, located in Barqueiros, in the Douro Demarcated Region. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The house is in the village of Nodar, close to the São Macário mountain range and the village of Pena. Near the house there are several trails, the Magic Mountains are an excellent business card, and there are several swings with fantastic landscapes. The Paiva walkways and the 516 Arouca bridge are 20 km away.

The cottage is secluded by more privacy and surrounded by flowers! Possibility to park your car. We also propose breakfast, but it is not included in the nightly price.
