Country setting only 2 miles from the city center.

I would definitely recommend checking out this unique house with amazing views from all the common areas and balconies! The place is perfect for families with kids because the beach is right in front of the house, the sea is shallow, and the beach feels very peaceful and private. As the area behind the house is known to be swampy, the mosquitoes can be annoying at night. However, Ilian provided us with a good amount of mosquito protection, and the house is equipped with effective mosquito nets in all the sleeping rooms, which helped a lot! The house is generally equipped with everything you would need for your vacation. The only thing our group missed was a dishwasher, but with good planning, all the dishes were washed with a smile.

We saw Villa Niki's photos on Airbnb and then decided to rent. From the moment our landlord Iordinas contacted us and till our departure, he kept informing us all the time about how to get to Villa Niki. Our journey came up to our National Holiday and people combined their weekend holiday with that so at the border there was a very long and terrible quoue for passport check. Even at that time Iordanis and his lovely wife Niki offered help to our family. He welcomed us on the way in his car. When we finally arrived, we were amazed by the place. It has a giant yard with olive trees and a great sea and nature view. Knowing that we had an exhausting travel, he showed us the fridge filled with lots of beverages, food and other stuff. No need to mention about the utilities and the perfect decoration of the house. We will be so glad to visit here again. He also helped us and brought us to book a table at a famous restaurant which is very close to the villa.Thanks a lot Iordanis. Greetings

Olive's villa was a really great stay. It was very remote and peaceful so we felt in a little paradise. The pool was amazing and clean. The entire stay was fantastic and I believe it would still be extremely worth it if it was more expensive. A total steal! Thanks a ton guys. Good luck with the rest of the season

I had a great stay. The room is comfortable providing my own bathroom and private toilet. Kyrious Panayiotis as a host, who lives in the same apartment, was extremely attentive and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed, from explaining the entry process and the rules of the house, to ensuring my stay was comfortable. On the morning of my departure, she prepared coffee for me, which was such a kind gesture and made me feel at home. The location was convenient and the overall experience was smooth and stress free.

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The house was both very clean and everything we could need was considered. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen equipment was brand new. The free parking in front was a big advantage. The host Konstantina was very kind and very quick with communication. Would recommend with peace of mind!

I had a wonderful stay at Antonis's place and I enjoyed it so much, I booked it again. Antonis replied all my questions and made me feel welcome from the beginning. The apartment is newly renovated, very comfy, cosy and even better than in the photos; it became my home from the first moment. In the apartment there is everything you might need and the neighbourhood is super peaceful. Antonis was even kind enough to show me around and introduced me his favourite shops and spots so I didn't lose time trying to find things:) I consider myself lucky to have coincided with him and his apartment. Nice apartment in an enclave of cottages near the sea. The neighbors are mainly Bulgarian, hence the amenities under them (Bulgarian TV). A communicative host who was trying to resolve issues from the outside. Recommended

On the inside, the word describing best Xarikleia's place is "homey". Elegant, but in a discreet way, employing a lot of wood and recently renovated, decorated with style and an obvious (and welcome) personal touch. The front veranda is eastward-oriented, ample and with sea view, whereas both bedrooms have their own smaller balconies, westward-oriented so one who wants to just lay back in the sun (or shadow) can do so all day long. On the outside, the neighborhood is quiet, with large plots and well-distanced houses (although some development works suggest this may not be the case several years down the road). The small and private beach (like most are in this coastal region) is a 300 m walk. The entire area seems ideal for relaxation, hence I would expect it to be more attractive for people past certain age, looking for some isolation and solitude, rather than for music, shopping, restaurants, nightlife etc. Shopping, even for basic food staples, in Abdera, 20 km drive roundtrip.

The apartment is new clean and fully equipped. It is a preferable place for those who want to vacation in a quiet and peaceful place. Although there are no grocery stores and shopping centers nearby, the restaurants are within walking distance. The proximity of the beach and the wonderful sea view are worth everything to watch from the balcony of the house. Thanks for a great stay! We were enchanted by the apartment, location, cleanliness and hospitality! We were also delighted by the quiet & pleasant area of the apartment, as well as its complete equipment! The apartment is 5 minutes from the beach, the Archaeological Museum & 20 minutes walk & 10 minutes by bus to the city center! There are 2 very good restaurants on the beach, one with free umbrellas & sun loungers and the other is on the campsite with very good food and on our evening we had live music & Greek dances there! Thanks again for making us feel comfortable the entire time, for providing a parking space for our car, and for communicating directly and quickly when we needed it! Thank you also for making a special gesture for us at the beginning and end of our stay. 200% recommendation for Katerina and Kostadinos!!!

The house was generally clean. Communication with host was seamless. There are too many flies in the area, maybe it would be very good if there were mosquito nets on the room doors. The sea is very beautiful and it is in a beautiful site. Thank you

It was a perfect holiday in thomas s place. We d really like to go there again… The garden was awesome. We enjoyed the barbecue place even the little pool was really joyful. We get sunbath in the garden, by the way beaches are really close 10 mins by walking. And the great tavern “almira” we went there two times! And the sunset was perfectly perfect. Thomas is really friendly, he helped everything thanks him again. We came just a couple but the place is okey for families or groups its so big!

Dimitris was a great host for us. We were two families accomodated in his house and had wonderful time there. House is very well equipped with everything that make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a rocks wild beach few minutes walk from the house trough beatuful yard with different types of trees and few others not crowded beaches nearby (5 min. by car). House has a wondenfull see view terace that makes your stay unforgetable. Dimitris was so kind and generous to us. He was available all the time and even brings us products from his family garden and presents for departure - something that we experienced first time in our decade long vacation in Greece. I highly recomend his house for everyone who want quiet vacation in enjoyble and comfortable surrounding.

Our stay at Villa Umami was great. The house has a great location, very short walk to the best beach spot. We had everything in the house, perfect kitchen, clean bathrooms and bedrooms, very comfortable outside seating areas, very large living room etc. George was very helpful for all our questions, he gave very good suggestions for local restaurants and attractions, even he was very kind to make us a reservation to a very popular reataurant. It was our one of the best airbnb experiences.

The villa is well situated, just a few metres away from the beach; fully equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The hosts are very polite and responsive! We had amazing time at Dikella!

A villa that I can definitely recommend for all couples with or without children. The details are far above what is shown in the photos. Clean, tidy, quality, decent, calm, private. We felt like we were in our own summer house for the 5 days we stayed. The pool is absolutely clean and quite enough for a family of 4 people. The sea is extremely calm, pristine, I strongly recommend sea shoes or pallet for sea lovers. The water directly opposite the house is shallow and the sea urchins are too many but the underwater habitat is very beautiful. Mrs. Kallopi is a solution friendly host who loves her job and has good communication with her customers. It was a vacation that helped me to relieve the tiredness of the whole summer. We will visit again at the first opportunity. Thank you

Very nice and cozy cottage.. Beautiful view.. There are some things to do in the villa but overall the place is great. Friendly and positive hostess. I recommend !!!
