I am delighted to present an exclusive wine tour through the beautiful Beaujolais region, where, throughout the day, you'll experience its picturesque villages, rolling hills, and the welcoming charm of this small but captivating wine country.
Our journey begins with a convenient pick-up from the center of Lyon. During the day, we’ll visit two carefully selected wineries - one traditional, family-run estate where winemaking know-how has been passed down through generations, and another dedicated to natural wines, where you’ll discover a more artisanal and eco-conscious approach to viticulture.
If you're joining me around harvest season – typically from early to mid-September, although the exact timing can vary each year – you'll have the unique opportunity to witness this special moment in the wine calendar. You’ll soak in the atmosphere of the harvest and witness the winemaking process, gaining a unique glimpse into local wine culture.
Between the two tastings, we’ll pause for a delicious picnic among the vineyards, featuring fresh local ingredients. It’s the perfect moment to relax, sip a glass of wine, and take in the peaceful beauty of the countryside.
To end the day, we’ll explore the charming village of Oingt, known for its stunning views and golden-stone houses.
