“We spent a fantastic Christmas week at Channel View. The house was perfect for a family get together, with plenty of room, a great kitchen and a cool games room for amusing the kids (and grandparents when it rains). Rhossili is an amazing location, beautiful walks and a pub across the road. We particularly enjoyed walking out to Worms Head. The hosts were really friendly , maintained an immaculate property and gave great tips on things to do and see. We’ll definitely be returning”
Self contained one up one down cottage Light and airy and well equipped 5 minute walk to Mewslade Beach and perfect for walking the Wales Coast path A perfect get away for peace and quiet in the heart of Gower Wood burner with first basket of logs provided, further logs at a small additional cost
“I had spotted this little cottage whilst out on a walk on a previous Gower break and I had kept their business card, pleased to see it was suitable for 1-2 people (I have found in the past that most self-catering accommodation sleeps 4+ and is therefore priced accordingly). It is a lovely little cottage, small in size but cosy, with a warm rustic feel to it, comfortable and well designed, as well as thoroughly equipped. The wood burning stove is very enjoyable in the evenings (a must for me when I select accommodation) and the south facing garden, with table and chairs, is perfect when the sun comes out. The digital radio was a pleasant surprise and so was the extensive library of books and DVDs. The location is superb, with one of the most beautiful stretches of the coastal path just at the bottom of the field. The Middleton bus stop is just a few steps away, making it very easy to reach this cottage on public transport. Rhossili with its stunning beach and the Worm's Head pub, for a pint with breathtaking views, are also easy to reach on foot. A pretty detour on a footpath across the fields makes a pleasant 20 minute walk to the village, off the paved road. Owners Kate and Steve are very welcoming, as is their little dog Djenko. I make regular visits to the Gower, as I love walking in the area, and this little cottage makes a perfect base. Thank you!”
A 5 minute level walk to the beautiful Oxwich Bay and this leads you to Three Cliffs Bay. It is a short drive to Gower's beaches, woodlands and beauty spots. You can walk to the Michelin Star Beach House restaurant and Oxwich Bay Hotel. It is 20 minute drive to The Mumbles with its boutique shopping, Pier and Castle. Bus stop is 3 minute walk from apartment. Our apartment is a perfect place for a relaxing getaway or a busy week of activities such as walking, running, surfing, kayaking and swimming.
“This is a great little place for 2. All you need. Lovely private house and garden. Spotlessly clean and well equipped including cleaning products and hand gels . 5 minute walk to a stunning beach surrounded by nature walks. Shop on the corner and beach kiosks do a breakfast roll. Hotel and restaurant werent open when we stayed but have been to both before. Both good. Our favourite place to eat and drink though is the king arthur in reynoldston. Theyre doing a great job with covid related measures.”
