Cosy terraced cottage in rural location

RiinuRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I really enjoyed my time at Jill and John's! They're both very welcoming and warm. Our schedules didn't align much but when I did see them, I enjoyed chatting to them both and learning about Wales. And how can I not mention Blodwen, the furry Queen of the House who was such a character. Their house is really cozy and welcoming. They've renovated an old miners' cottage that has lots of character and stunning views to the sea from the garden and the bedroom window. I also enjoyed the small touch of freshly cut garden flowers in my room. Bed was comfortable and the bedroom is right next to it (shared but clean and I never I had to wait to use it). The house is a bit out of the way but well worth it for the sunsets over the sea, plus you really do need a car to make the most of Snowdonia anyway; although, if you need it, a bus goes to Caernafon a few times a day. There's also a lovely walking path nearby: a pilgrimage path through Dorthea quarry. Would recommend! Thank you!

Bwthyn Llwynog-Mountain escape

LynneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a brilliant fortnight we had - two weeks of warm sunshine. After a day out we would say 'let's go home' and that's what the cottage meant to us. Private, quiet, fantastic landscape, charming cottage with everything we needed. Cuckoos, ravens, buzzards, warblers, wagtails, and sheep with their lambs. Wonderful!

Mountain magic

The location exceeded all expectations, an absolute slice of heaven on earth. The house is perfectly situated right on a hiking trail, offering breathtaking views, pristine fresh air, the soothing sound of a nearby stream, and the peaceful melody of birdsong. Every detail of the house is thoughtfully designed and fully equipped for comfort and ease. What made the experience even more special were the hosts! Genuinely kind, attentive, and always available if we needed anything. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel truly welcomed. A perfect stay in every way. Thank you, Chris and Anita!

Wow ! Such a great place to stay in with all the amenities you may need. Kitchen very well equipped and everything in new and clean condition. The location is perfect if you are looking to explore the beauty of the local village. Amazing waterfall just up the road and everything else you may need just down the road such as shops and even a Thai place 😁🤘🏼 Overall amazing place to stay in and a great friendly host. Thank you again for letting us stay over at your place. : ))

Cottage in picturesque Snowdonia

Cosy, beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage in an amazing picturesque location. Great communication with Barbora who was very approachable and super helpful, giving us excellent advice on parking for the shuttle bus to Snowdon starting points. We definitely would stay again.

Snowdonia Bunkhouse, Exclusive Hire, Sleeps 30

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What to say? We had the most fabulous time. Mum's 90th birthday adventure to go up Snowdon was well and truly accomplished with one very happy Mum. The bunkhouse was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Mum slept well in the bunk and could move easily around the house. 13 large adults slept in the bunkhouse with 7 more coming in for meals which were easily cooked from scratch and we all sat and ate together. It was wonderful. Most of the party walked up the Rhyd Ddu path to the summit and the rest went up by train from Llanberis. We met at the top for a photo but that was all the time the train party had before reboarding for the downwards journey (Snowdon Railway only allows 30 mins before return trip). Rob was very speedy at answering any queries and offered advice about going up the mountain and a good weather site. All in all it was the perfect site for what we wanted. Thank you Rob.
