Holiday rentals with breakfast in Ri Bhoi

I traveled with my parents, husband and kids (4.5 and 3). The moment we entered the place, it felt like home. We were familiar with the locality as we had already lived in the city earlier (my parents for 34 years and me 25 years). We intended to spend a lot of time at the property and just soak in the air of Shillong, and that was possible because the home provided us with enough space and facilities we could ask for. Dad loved the early morning sunlight on the terrace and did his exercises there. Kids loved the space inside and outside and played their hearts out. Kitchen and washing machine made our lives so much easier. Marc's caretaker was available to help us out with whatever we needed. The property is very old (traditional Assam cottage), and hence requires a slightly better maintenance. There are tiny bits all over the place that need some attention, but I suppose that a renovation is already in plan. Thanks for helping me create new memories with my kids!

If you're feeling on the fence about booking this property. Let me tell you that the photos don't do justice to this place. The moment you step in it's evident Farrah has put in a lot effort and care into curating this property. Every corner of the house is filled with charm and personality. The bathroom was clean and the kitchen stocked with breakfast food. If you're like me looking to embarce the slow quaint Shillong life for a few days. You can't go wrong with this traditional style Shillong house (...that actually feels like a home and not a hotel!). And having Farrah as your host only adds to the value. : )

A beautiful and cozy place place to stay, centrally located at the heart of Guwahati city. This location is at a nearby distance from a few hotspots as well as transport option. Both the host and their friendly Labrador ensure that overall you have a freindly and comfortable stay. Keep up the good work. Cheers :)

A good place to stay in guwahati. The area is good with restaurants nearby. Luckily we visited during bihu festival and there was a celebration in nearby which was very nice. Overall a good place to stay. 8 to 9 kms from Maa Kamakhya Devi temple and around 18 to 20 kms from airport.

The photos do not justice to Farrah’s place. It is aesthetically beautiful and is located perfectly in the city. Farrah is a great host and we just fell in love with Farrah and her team’s hospitality. We were travelling with kids and Farrah ensured we were taken care of. A special mention to the food. It was so simple yet you will end up eating the last morsel of it. Minimalist yet tasty. You should try Farrah’s food. Also, the bonfire just outside is a great place to reflect and rewind after a long day. All in all, a great place to stay and merits a 5 star reco without a doubt.

We absolutely loved our stay at Woodside Residence in Langkyrding, Shillong! The pine forest behind the house was a tranquil oasis, with a cool hiking path perfect for morning walks. The house ensured complete privacy, making it ideal for relaxation. Its location, just a spit away from the main road, and the Shillong Golf course offered easy access to local attractions while maintaining a peaceful distance from loud city noises. The hosts were warm and welcoming We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a serene getaway in Shillong.

The stay was very pleasant and great being located in the main spot of the city. The house was cozy with spacious bedrooms and garden area. Host Anamika was very responsive and addressed all our queries patiently. Overall a great place to stay in Shillong.

worth every penny, our stay was completely private, comfy and peaceful. everything is available nearby as market is in walkable distance. from the place to host everything was good.

Great place to stay. We were traveling as a family and we had enough space. Nice outdoor patio with great views. We arrived in the morning and were hungry. Some breakfast food was in the kitchen and tea was provided. Bandana was so nice to think of us. Hope to be back next year!

Awesome place - ideal for peace. The hosts are friendly and responsive. the place is away from the city and you could share a taxi for 80 bucks one way per passenger to the city centre. I would want to stay there again. Cheers

Words will not be enough to praise the beauty of this place... This particular property provides you the absolute privacy & comfortability... Rooms are clean & airy... Lots to do in the nearby locality...

My partner and I stayed at Mahasveta’s airbnb for a month and a half and we loved it. We felt safe, the neighborhood was good and the neighbors were nice. Aside from the slight renovation and a few upgrades, the apartment is very nice and homely. Mahasveta and Pankaj were very responsive and accommodating with our questions and concerns. I would love to stay here again when I visit.

Bibi is a gracious host whose place is spotless and welcoming. The room is accessed through a separate staircase, so it is private, with a tiny verandah facing the beautiful garden. Bibi is very kind and helpful, allowing for a late check out for me and also taking a parcel for me. The complimentary breakfasts she serves are lovely as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was in a quiet lane off the main zoo road with lots of cafés and shops on the main road.

Rupankar is amongst one of the hosts who pulls up extra effort to make your stay comfortable..!! he did not only took care of us but also was kind enough to get the food prepared for our furry kid..!!

We had an amazing stay at The Anchorage Hotel in Shillong. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, making it a very comfortable experience. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to the main attractions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shillong!

Had a short but excellent stay at Ri San Dor in Shillong. Our Host was very responsive and friendly and always was available over text or a quick call. Directions to the place are easy if followed on Gmaps. Our caretaker KK was very friendly and was always ready to cater to our demands. Food was good and breakfast was excellent. Absolutely recommended 5/5.

It was a very pleasant stay at Mr. Subodh's place. The rooms were clean and tidy. The little garden outside was fun to hang out with friends in. Mr. Subodh was very friendly and helped with so many things. We even struck up a few conversations here and there. Great place and a great host.

I had a great stay at Caney's place! The homestay is located on an uphill neighbourhood, so it might be difficult for some to walk but it's quiet and peaceful. The place has all the essentials, just as listed. Caney was super responsive and quick to help whenever needed.

I’m thrilled I found Rachel’s homestay! It felt like home, with spotless rooms and a clean bathroom. They even have a heater and a geyser for hot showers. The food is delicious and authentic. They have bikes and scooters for rent, and the place is surrounded by two adorable furry friends who’ll shower you with love. The caretakers are super sweet, and a special shoutout to Shine! I met Ashley on the last day of my stay, and I’m so glad I did. He’s a biker and traveler with a wealth of knowledge about the Northeast region. He organizes unique trips and tours that you won’t find anywhere else. Last but not least, Rachel is an amazing and caring person who makes sure you’re always comfortable and happy. I absolutely felt like home! She went above and beyond to help me plan my itinerary and make sure my stay was peaceful and enjoyable. She even arranged cabs for me at odd times!
