A wonderful stay, a beautiful and very relaxing villa. We arrived early and were able to advance the schedule to collect the keys . They are really hosts who are very attentive to our needs and accommodating . We had a great time and met hosts as they are rare . Thanks again to them for this stay

Valentin is extremely friendly, responsive, helpful and efficient. The house is really very good and the landscape in front of the house is beautiful. A very, very nice place. Valentin also offers Portuguese dishes for delivery. Absolutely delicious! Anyway, I highly recommend it!

The Casa do Alto is a very nice stay near the Peneda-Geres park. The house is beautifully kept, the rooms and bathrooms (private for all rooms except one) are fantastic, and the porche outside with views to the lake is really pleasant. We've done this for 10 years and this is one of the nicest houses we've been in (if not the nicest). Manuela was proactive in making sure we got there right, had someone deliver the keys to us on our stay and was available the whole time. Overall an excellent experience :) Thanks, Manuela!

Carla was very responsive to any issues we had. Very helpful and friendly despite the language differences. Casa Sophia is a perfect as a base for exploring the northern region of Portugal.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation exceeded expectations, super clean, everything smells good, and very welcoming. A large house, with immense privacy, great to rest. All the hosts were super attentive, and very helpful. We intend to return.

Perfect space. Really a super complete vacation home. Our congratulations for the space. The only "problem" we had was locomotion outside the house. We have a the family with limited mobility and the number of stairs and own house being situated on a slope did not help much. But obviously this is not a defect. We just wanted to highlight this part because as we have a lot of people in this situation and it makes it difficult a little bit. Outside if the stairs had handrails would be ideal . But everything was perfect thank you

Large house, it is quite better than in the photos, the rooms are large and the house is very well cared for, the garden was very good, they were aware of what we needed, highly recommended.

Rui went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our family—including providing a crib, high chair, and even a baby bathtub for our 14-month-old. His thoughtfulness set the tone for what was meant to be a dream trip with our kids to meet their great-grandmother. However, just as we were about to leave, Europe experienced a massive power outage, and Portugal went dark. We weren’t sure if our long-awaited trip would even happen. After over 10 hours on the phone with no resolution, we asked Rui to start processing a refund, fearing the worst. But nearly 30 hours later, we finally got through to international support and managed to book a late-night flight, arriving a full day later and losing two days of our trip. When we told Rui, he immediately extended our reservation so we wouldn’t miss out on the experience we had hoped for. He met us at the house, personally escorted us in, and gave us a warm welcome that made all the travel stress melt away.

We spent 10 days at Carla's at the end of July 2023. Our family stay was superb. Hosting Carla and her family was very nice. The sun and their smiles contributed to the success of our trip!
