We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We were welcomed in person, and there were some treats to enjoy, which was very thoughtful. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The location was great, and we were easily able to walk around town. We also had an easy time finding parking on the street behind the apartment. Miguel and Pedro were lovely hosts. They were communicative and always quick to respond. We would recommend this apartment and will stay here again if we visit again.

We loved every single moment in this apartment. The moment we stepped into the apartment we felt at home. Everything was just as described and very tidy. The beach is a short walk away. Could not have asked for a better spot for the 5 days we were staying in the Azores. So easy to walk down along the water and explore. Gorgeous place and so clean and tidy. 5 star and hope to return again some time. Highly recommend

One of my favorite places I've ever stayed. Spotless, spectacular views, central on harbor, small grocery shop two doors down. This high rise property is a rarity in Ponta Delgada The apartment is lovely, with every convenience considered, from sewing kits to notepads tucked into bedside drawers, chargers, umbrellas, games, music, the list goes on. Kitchen is well equipped, with lots of high quality cookware, plus cooking oil + basics like sugar + rice. Laundry works well. Parking included. Bruno is responsive and knowledgeable. He had great tips for the Azores. We did a family vacation with lots of hikes, surfing, hot springs etc. Would absolutely return.

We had a lovely stay here! The apartment is beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious, modern bathroom. The balcony was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. There’s a popular restaurant right next door, and although the apartment is located a bit outside the Ponta Delgada city center, it’s a peaceful area with enough parking nearby. We had a car, which we’d recommend, but also walked into town along the scenic coastline-it takes about 30 minutes. All in all, a great base for exploring the island!

The location was great with an amazing view the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. I truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free Airbnb experience!

Manuela was there to greet us and show us around. She answered our questions and had local restaurant recommendations. ( Cais 20 was my favorites and within walking distance ) There also is another restaurant nearby Jardim do Mar, with a small play area for kids. The house was exactly as depicted and clean. The view of the water is amazing. This location is close to downtown and night life. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

We had the best time at Maria‘s cozy cottage. You can enjoy the big garden and a great view over the ocean, accompanied by two lovely cats. The cottage is small but you have everything you need. André, Maria and her husband are very friendly. We had some nice conversations with them. We would love to visit this place again soon!

A Truly Perfect Stay – More Than Just an Airbnb!
Our stay was absolutely perfect. It felt more like a hotel, but with all the warmth of a family home. The property is stunning, with a beautiful pool and breathtaking views the ideal spot to unwind. The hosts and staff were incredible. Marillia, one of the owners, took our children to milk cows and even baked cookies with them – such thoughtful, memorable experiences. Breakfast, prepared by Nelia and Martha, was fresh, delicious, and full of variety a highlight each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and we felt at home from day one. We’re already planning our return to the Azores, and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so special!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Rui was responsive and helpful whenever needed. The private terrace overlooking the ocean was the true standout. Some thoughtful touches like coffee, milk, juice, and jam were also provided for our arrival. The location in São Roque is quiet but conveniently walkable to Ponta Delgada (~30 min along a beautiful coastal path). We usually found parking in the small lot at Ilhéu de S. Roque at the end of the road, though be aware it's a narrow drive where you need to drive half on the sidewalk. If that's a concern, there’s ample parking just a short walk away on Av. do Mar. We didn’t notice much noise from the nearby Cais 20 restaurant. That said, the larger bedroom faces the street and can pick up foot traffic if windows are open. The smaller room was quieter and had better ocean sounds — we actually preferred sleeping there. Beds and pillows are basic but we slept just fine. All in all, a wonderful stay with a spectacular view.

A spacious and very well furnished appartment with a unique location with a wonderfull view on the small fishing port of Lagoa. Absolutely excellent.

This is an old, converted fisherman’s cottage (we think). It’s a beautiful place with access to sea swimming pools right out the back garden gate. Easy walking distance to Lagoa along a coastal path leading right to the most amazing set of sea swimming pools (plus proper pools). Local cafe/bar/restaurant right on the doorstep. Kitchen was great, bathrooms clean and showers lovely and warm and powerful. Living space upstairs was fab - cosy in the rain but also perfect with the terrace door open in the evening. We have two young adult girls and one of them wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the communal space next to the kitchen but we easily moved her bed into the small room so she could sleep next to her sister. The only downside was that it was difficult to get things dry when it rained. Everything stayed damp and ended up smelling musty. In the wet, humid conditions the cottage feels a little damp. Generally speaking though, this is a great place. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Nuno’s place! The apartment was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Nuno was an amazing host—very kind and super quick to respond to any questions. The only downside was the noise from the street; there were parties with loud music almost every evening until 1 or 2 a.m., which made it hard to sleep at times. Still, if you’re okay with a lively atmosphere, this is a fantastic spot!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Their availability and recommendations, especially for excursions, greatly enriched our stay. It was an ideal anchor point to explore the island, rest and fully enjoy the Azores. We loved our stay at Casas D'El Rei. The location is really good, near Santa Bárbara beach (about 15 mins walking distance), the apartments are well equipped, very comfortable, and you also have parking. The whole island is wonderful but we liked staying in this central location with easy access to explore the rest of the island. We were welcomed by Ana and also met other members of the team who made us feel welcome straight away! We highly recommend Casa D'El Rei! Thanks for having us!

Place feels safe. It's located in a private neighborhood with automatic fence. Dedicated private parking spot is under a roof so the car is extra secure. Few minutes by car from the city center. Apartment was really large, and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

My wife and I had a most wonderful stay for 6 nights at the Ocean View 11. Before we committed to the reservation I could tell we had a lot in common with our hosts. We are an active, healthy athletic couple in our 70’s that love exploring, hiking, eating, conversing with locals and learning history. The unit is perfect and well described the way it is. I could always find parking within two blocks. The best rooms in the house are the awesome patio with oven view. We had all our breakfasts there. It’s quiet, spacious and modern. The malecón along the beach is awesome and great for a walk or run. I swam at the protected beach near it. The owners gave us an amazing list of recommended sites to visit and restaurants. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. We went to almost all of the sites and then some. I highly recommend this stay and we personally intend to return more to explore the extreme eastern part os Sao Miguel as well and to visit the other islands Enjoy it

Great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and all attractions in ponta delgada. Central location on the island and able to drive anywhere on the island within 45 minutes. Extremely convenient to have a private parking space too. Unit was very clean and beds were comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more, excellent experience.
