This place is amazing! We enjoyed the apartment for two weeks as our home base to explore Sao Miguel. With its location in Lagoa it is the perfect getaway from the business of Ponta Delgada but still close enough to go on early whale watching tours.. or to any direction on the island. The kitchen is very well setup - we could prepare meals on multiple days but also enjoyed the walks to the nearby restaurants.. With breakfast and dinner on the roof top terrace this place is a unique find and we will be happy to stay again! Thank you for making such a place a reality!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house, and I can't recommend it enough! The location is absolutely fantastic, just a short walk from the best beach on the island (my opinion 😊). Waking up to the sound of the waves and the beautiful views was awesome. The house itself was modern, spotless and well-maintained. Every room was immaculate, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the property and we appreciated the nice gift basket. Patricia our host was awesome, very helpful and super responsive. If you're looking for a relaxing beachside retreat on the quieter side of the island with excellent ocean views this is the place to be.

Incredible place. We've stayed for a week & had great experiences the entire time. We were greeted with a basket of local sweetbread which was a very nice surprise. The apartment is very close to the beach & you can see the ocean from the windows. There's A/C in every room and the kitchen is packed full of everything you would need. There's also a washing machine & a place to dry your clothes. The whole place was squeaky clean when we got there. Amazing value for the cost. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful base for Sao Miguel We loved Erico‘s place which was comfortable, beautifully decorated and charming. It also was very well equipped with dishes, spices, generous towels und great beds. Parking on the steep street is a bit daunting to start with and there are barking dogs just like everywhere else on the island that break up the serenity but the place is a real haven and between walking to the beach and driving to the different corners of the island it’s in a great place too. Érico was a responsive generous host, from the welcome bread and milk to restaurant recommendations , thank you Erico, we would definitely come again

As an editor for a residential and architecture magazine, I have seen many holiday homes. Mario's house is the kind you fall in love with right away. The renovation is very carefully done, and the decor looks modern, but at the same time warm and inviting. Three separate residential units offer enough privacy, even if you share the house with other guests - which did not bother us at all. The amenities are great, and the pool and the view are simply fantastic. I can well imagine that other travelers who value style and comfort will also love this house. All in all: worth a trip!

Vila Vista Vale was so beautiful! We felt like we had a whole resort to ourselves! The garden and pool were amazing! It was so nice to have outdoor spaces to eat or enjoy our coffee. The pool was such a fun place to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome basket was so thoughtful! We were able to walk to the parks and hot springs, the store and the restaurants. It was also a great location for driving to enjoy the nearby sites like the beach and the tea plantation. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone wanting an awesome home base for the island of Sao Miguel. Raul was very responsive to my messages and proactive to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible!

My daughter and I spent a week here and I'm so glad we weren't tempted to explore any of the other islands. Sao Miguel is so beautiful and has so much to offer, especially if you like to get off the beaten track and are prepared to drive through narrow streets and walk up & down inclines! Lagoa itself has all you may need within walking distance, and access to a modern mall and supermarket within a short driving distance. We tried several of the local restaurants and were not disappointed with any of them. It is a seafood lover's paradise. The one that stood out for us was O Rui but it was a close race. Francisco's home is exactly as pictured and described. It is well furnished, with new appliances, a nicely equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The view of the Atlantic ocean cannot be surpassed, especially from the top floor. Francisco was helpful and generous, and responded to our intermittent questions in a timely manner. We were so very sad to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming tiny house in Santo Antonio. The place was spotless, with everything super clean and well-maintained. Check-in was smooth and easy, and we felt welcomed from the very beginning. The pool area is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special mention for the breakfast: such a thoughtful and delicious touch that made our mornings even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy stay in the area!
