There are buses going south towards Kingston, and north towards Kew Gardens. The 391 and the 65 bus routes will take you smack through the centre of Richmond and Kew all the way across Kew Bridge to Chiswick and beyond. If you are in the mood for a stroll, Richmond Park is 10 minutes walk away and the river is also about 10 minutes - great for a wander along in summer while sampling the pubs and bars. Richmond bridge takes you across to the charming St Margaret's area.
